You would have thought that any transfer of di Maria, in the circumstances of Madrid wanting to bring about the sale to release funds, would be fairly public. Much like the Sanches transfer has been. It's not like Vidal where the selling club doesn't want to sell. It's in Real's interests to drum up as much interest as possible.
