No that wasn't true, also where would be play? Neymar is on the left and they've basically signed Suarez.

Reus is both footed & he can play anywhere in the last third too. For a player of his quality - its good for competition in Barca's squad. You cant rely on the same players to perform week in week out... We cant rely on anyone to perform at all..

I don't think he'd join Barcelona. I can see him joining an English team.

That useless annoying prick is on WC duty with RTE (Irish national tv station) ffs... Jammy feckin bastard is way out of his depth & on the holiday of a lifetime.. So sickening!

For anyone thats not familar with aul Jim's football commentary or analysis - i'll give you a short heads-up to what the useless ex-scouse bit-part player back in the day, goes on like:

"Great pass there from Kroos - reminds of those fantastic passes Graham Souness used to play to Kenny all the time... ah - those were the days.. beautiful football we'll never see again.."

"What a goal by Messi - unbelievable finish. Brucie Grobbelaar would have saved that though... what a top keeper he was. Best ever. We'll never see the likes of Brucie again. What a great team we had back then - best ever in many peoples eyes. Even better than the 1970 Brasil Team.."

"The Columbian squad are just gettin off the team bus - they all look relaxed & fresh for this game, but i think some are showing a little bit of nerves aswell though. When we travelled on the bus to away games with Liverpool, the journey was tremendous. The bus driver - big Dickie McSlurry, had all the lads singing all the songs 'You'll never walk alone.. alone.. alone..' over & over again. Its was wonderful. The players were all so relaxed & we'll never see the like of it again.. Best bus journeys ever it was.."

He was commentating live when Suarez bit Chellini. You would want to hear the cnut.
"We don't know that it was a bite. No need to say that because he has a history of it" He was going on about people trying to smear Suarez.
He even had his co-commentator calling it an alleged bite them. He was fecking shocking. Don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining Jim

Is anyone really surprised that Southhampton are rejecting bids now, their club is being r**ed for players after 1 good season

FFS man - there's no way we're doing another friggin whip-round on here. I'm still financially recovering from the "Kaka to City" ordeal. Had to re-mortgage the house to supplement his wages to keep him away from the bitters..

Worth it though!

I suppose £2.40 and a pack of cherry Airwaves isn't going to get us far is it?

Arsenal get linked with Kalou every transfer window. You'd think he would have jumped at the chance years ago if there was any real interest.

We seem to be missing out on a lot of good action right now. Kroos being quoted at 20 million, Arsenal bidding for Sanchez while we're sitting on our hands. Also the Schneiderlin rumours, he could do a job for us. Then again, if we sign Di Maria I won't care too much about Sanchez. Kroos, on the other hand, really is a steal at that price.

NOTW loves to make quotes up. They are shameless.

Is Reus not heading to Barca this summer though?

I thought he had agreed personal terms with them a while ago...
No I can't see them signing Suarez, a CB and Reus all in a summer where they're supposed to have a transfer ban.

But Reus will get attention from everyone.
Will he though? After Di Maria has moved to make way for Rodriguez, Cuadrado has moved along with Sanchez then personally I can only ourselves, Bayern and maybe Chelsea in for him. I'm saying Bayern but they may opt to go for Draxler to replace Robben next summer.

Are you sure those quotes weren't made up by someone on Redcafe?
