perfect example just now why Lahm in DM IS a smart idea - zero protection for back four from Khedira, Schweini and Kroos

Good point.

Nah Lahm did a terrible job of protecting the back four first half. Was missing on several occasions as Algeria cut them open easily.

I read the article! Don't assume otherwise or get sarcy!

He said Rooney was past his peak, wouldn't last long past 30 and then questioned if Woy would drop him if needs be
Considering the fact Wayne Rooney got pretty annoyed about it, I think it's safe to say he had a pop at him in some shape of form.
Have a smoke and calm down.

Yeah that's rubbish from Honigstein. Many times (and not just in today's match) the countering team will whiz past Lahm and the back four is instantly exposed.

According to @NOS, it is doubtful if Nigel de Jong is able to play again at this World Cup after his injury against Mexico.

No....See....You're talking utter rubbish now!

I never said Scholes has nothing but bad to say about the club.
I never even mentioned Herrera.

So you are just getting angry and insulting me unnecessarily over something, you fabricated!

What I actually said was, it was stupid of Scholes to write that article just before the World Cup!

I never once said anything else. So congratulations. You've succeeded in insulting me, coming across extremely rudely and accusing me of posting things, I never even posted.
Oh ya. You didnt mention Herrera. Right. All the Keane comparison was meant to praise Scholes. So naive of me not to get it.

Bit harsh...

German newspaper BILD: “Schurrle and Neuer brilliant, the rest a disgrace.”

£45m is justified when Torres was signed for £50m.. but seriously in a market where Mata is worth £37.5m (which is fair) then Vidal must be worth £7.5m more, again, which is fair. I said earlier that both him and Sanchez would cost £40-45 each and even at that money it's justified, we would also make over £30m from selling players that are most likely being sold anyway.

Because he said "may" and "could" a lot? That's just Scholes being vague, he is a vague personality after all. He suggested that Rooney was past his peak and could only have a few years left and that's not a very nice thing to say about someone you coached a few weeks ago, played with for nine years and who plays at a club that pay you to be their ambassador.
You keep saying this, but Scholes isn't currently employed by United in any capacity, coaching, ambassadorial or otherwise.

This needs to be bolded, and underlined, and made huge, don't tell me otherwise!

The European transfer windows have now officially opened! Buckle your seatbelts kids, this shit is about to get MESSY!

Actually, there is about 2 minutes until that happens.

Awh well...Fair question to ask. Wasn't mean't to be a comparison between himself and Keane...But a question of your mindset and view of the subject. How naive of you
What's this got to do with Twitter? Take this somewhere else lads!

Did you mean...Messi??

If that's true then my bad. These articles state otherwise and I was simply, perhaps naively so, assuming that the journalists had done their research right.

Again, this is for Twitter only, it gets a bit tedious reading and scrolling through your debate when it should clearly be in another thread. Tweets only, not fecking articles!

Um... Question - Wasn't it already open? I mean we signed Herrera last week so...

The official website doesn't seem to think so. It mentions quite a few players who have been appointed ambassadors, but Scholes isn't one of them.

Has he got anything good to say these days?

Another positive article generated from Scholes quotes  nice one Scholesy. Fine line between having an opinion and acting the dick, don't think he's crossed it yet but these continual negative headlines are going to start grating a lot of United fans i think.

By the way, don't agree with the comparisons between Vidal and Roy Keane. Vidal is a much more attacking and technically gifted player.

Vidal is a brilliant player, still think roy was better though.

Got this :

Oops! That page can’t be found. It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?

Me to! No idea where the article is/went.

Does this mean we are getting Sanchez a personal chef as part of the incentive package to get him here?

No.

Does Sanchez take away from Messi, and the same in reverse, and where does Neymar fit into all of this? A nice problem to have but a problem all the same and it's one thing having too many cooks spoiling the broth and quite another having Gordon Ramsey, Heston Blumenthal and Ferran Adrià all giving each other daggers across a crowded kitchen.

Just Sport Witness trying their hand at analogy.

Um... Question - Wasn't it already open? I mean we signed Herrera last week so...

Premier League was fully open, which means Shaw was probably our first official signing because he could register before Ander, Ander Herrera can now be registered.
