Has he got anything good to say these days?

Scholes should know better. To compare Kroos and Herrera is stupid for me. They are different players, Kroos can dictate tempo and spread the ball but is much more static than Herrera who can drive forward with the ball better than Kroos.

Personally i think that Herrera is more suited to us and will make things happen, Kroos is useless (yes i said that) if he don't have players who run around him. I think that Herrera is much more like Scholes (except of passing) than Kroos and i am very suprised with this comments. I started to think that he have clause in his contract that he must talk like this.

50% of those pages must have been those 3-4 days around when the Herrera transfer news broke!

Aye. I remember that after a few days of the thread being made, there weren't that many pages and some posters were complaining that the so called blacklist had killed the thread off.

Both RedBistro and Adnan in particular have both been twitter machines in this thread too. I'd say the twitter thread has been the best it has been in a long time.

He didn't compare them. He didn't mention Herrera's name once, instead he just gushed about Kroos. Kroos is obviously the better footballer, albeit I do think Herrera is more like the kind of player we need. Still, if Scholesy rates Kroos he's entitled to do so in his column work.

+1!

I think so, too.

Insane if true. It makes the purchase of both Isco and Illaramendi look a little pointless. Rodriguez wouldn't play anywhere out wide with Bale and Ronaldo guaranteed starters. Di Maria has been brilliant. Modric will surely retain his place. I just don't understand why they wouldn't place their trust in the Spanish lads they have.

Galacticos.

Real Madrid like shiny new toys.

Maybe because they couldn't get into a lacklustre Spanish WC team, or maybe because RM traditionally like hoarding and wasting talent. Players go there and stagnate, in the future its best to allow any sought after player to go there and then buy him when the next flavour of the year interests RM in the same position. That way we hit two birds with one stone, the player really would want to come to get playing time and also would have got the RM dream out of his system.

Di Maria may also be available soon, ;)

How is that fickle?

Did you read Scholes actual quotes? He was bang on with what he said. He's been one of our greatest players and you are going off him over a few sensationalism quotes from Paddy Power?

Vidal would massively improve us. If he wants to come and we need to raise money to pay for it, we can sell Rooney or Hernandez to cover a third to a half of it, presumably. Cleverley or Fellaini would fetch us another 6-8 (based on Livermore and rumours) or 12-15 too, I figure.

You play to much fm!

It's more the fact that every other day, a paid United ambassador seems to be criticizing both our players and the club's decisions. First Rooney was past his peak, next our Shaw signing proved how mad the game has gone and now, we bought the wrong midfielder. Not the greatest ambassadorial work.

But all his points are spot on if you read them. Just that Paddy Power put their twist on it to raise interest.

A few, its constant! If we bought Ronaldo Scholes would say we should've gone for Messi.

It stopped City from getting Isco. A little less pointless perhaps.

Seems odd. He looks nowhere near that level of a player.

Hasn't he been pretty prolific?

Torres to go as well as Ba this summer - possibly Lukaku on loan as well. They'll need more than one forward this summer if so.

We were meant to be in for him. Odd move, figured he'd be off to the Premier League... maybe even as a replacement for Lallana under Koeman.

"Yes, it is good to see United bringing in new players, but they haven’t signed anything like the quality of Kroos."

This seems like comparing to me. I am fine with all the rest he said but it is like Scholes have to throw some dig at United and i don't know why. Why he have to add that i dont find a reason.
