How much did we buy him for? £ 3 mil or something? We sold a player for more than we bought him?

Done very well to get that for him.I think this is Woodward's first sale of a player. Not a bad effort at all.

we tend to be rubbish at selling players normally, so that's alright.

He wasn't that bad, just pointlessly average.

woody already 1 upping Gill in the sales department, with a bit more experience we could have our very own Levy (minus the baldy)

Just hope he is NOT involved in a player + cash deal with Liverpool. Boy that would suck.

Swap deals almost never happen.

The big question here is why a player who is likely to have a lot of options would choose Liverpool. As well as they've done, without Suarez they take a step back and don't have the financial muscle of other clubs.

I can really see him being part of the Suarez deal. Really hope I'm wrong

Depends whether LvG has put out the feelers. I do believe that the LvG factor will make the difference in bringing in the difficult targets.

It makes sense signing Vidal and Sanchez not only due to their quality and how well they would fit at United but also the fact that they are both Chilean and they could help each other settle in Manchester. Also fellow Spanish speakers, De Gea, Mata and Herrera would be a help whilst settling in.

Yep. Can't really see Sanchez playing for us next season but really hope he's not playing for Liverpool. Be a huge step down for Sanchez

I can't see him at Liverpool, massive step down and with Suarez leaving they don't really have many top quality players. While we still have Mata, Van Persie and Van Gaal as manager. He probably doesn't even know who Brendan Rodgers is haha

Probably scared of the brown envelope.

There almost a equal amount of risk joining for Liverpool as there would be in joining United. If United are going to get top 4 there it's most likely be knocking Liverpool out(let's face it Arsenal are always going to get top 4)so while Pool have CL now next year is no guarantee.Add to that their going to be selling their best player(Although it's going to be a massive amount)a defence that's piss poor. So the reasons to join Pool instead of United isn't exactly clear.

Although at the moment it's looking bright at United there's still a chance at blow up in faces.
