No, he won't. They'll both play most of the games, guaranteed. Di Maria is not a number 10 and Mata is not a central midfielder.He's played on the left of a midfield three with RM. Central midfield where Mata finds himself in this system, granted Mata is ahead of two central players rather than on the left. What I meant was he'll play instead of Mata. Out of Mata, Herrera, Carrick and Di Maria, the most balanced midfield consists of the latter three. He'll take Mata's place.
