That Pilib de Brún guy tweeted that he sent information to them about how a fee had not yet been agreed, having supposedly been sent an email from United. I guess whatever they are saying is coming from him and his email.

Considering he is on our ban list and that he has a history of being unreliable, I would not worry too much.

This despite the fact, Delaney, The Caf's golden boy, just said he's a top lad and spot on

They shouldn't be. It's not been good but he's inherited a mess and has a track record turning such situations round.

But if people think it'll be instant, they're wrong. He's said as much himself.

We'll improve though and once he gets it right, we'll be fine and much stronger going forward.
They probably wanted Jose. Jose wouldn't be able to get a tune out of some of this dross. As you say LVG has been left to sort out a terrible squad.

He might be a "top lad" but I have personally never seen that Pleb say anything remotely relevant or true about Utd. I wouldn't trust a word he says about Di Maria personally.

All he said is United are denying they have agreed a fee, easily be the line they are spinning to the media for now.

Oh I see, let's play no one in CM then. I think he's playing them there because he has very little choice in the matter currently.

It was tongue in cheek, wasn't meant to be taken seriously.

Still though the aforementioned two obviously aren't good enough so what difference would it have made having Kagawa in there, I dont see how it could have been worse. Obviously Clev/Fletch played because there was nobody else

I don't quite understand the reasoning in saying we haven't agreed a fee, whilst reports pretty much everywhere are saying we have?
Is there any reason why a club might do that?

I remember the club were denying we bid for Rooney......Then Fergie came out 45 mins later and admitted we made a bid
Haha it just makes no sense, because if it's leaked to the press that we have agreed a fee, and everywhere has picked up on it, whats the point denying it? I just don't understand it. Do we have to brief saying we've not agreed a fee due to stock market regulations? So confusing.

Still, just gotta wait and see

Van Gaal practically admitted we will announce the deal on our own terms. He was being very careful with his words to not let it slip in that interview.

Yeah i was thinking the same... the way he said "I think always the club has to announce it". It did give the strongest impression that either something had been agreed, or was close to being agreed.

You're joking right. Cleverley is never going to bring a material contribution to an exciting united attack. One odd good ball occasionally maybe but recently he's been shite.
I'm not having that. He's a great player.

Was hoping for white text or sarcasm. I remember the community shield a few years ago when I thought his link up play was promising.

Cleverley and fletcher today were awful. Half arsed misplaced passes or simply static horizontal play.
Nah I was kidding. I would say he's mediocre but these days given his confidence levels he's just downright awful.

Seems like a popular guy despite the fact that he looks like if he wasn't a footballer he'd be driving around in a kevved up Vauxhall Corsa listening to Tiesto.

I think we had a fee agreed with Lucas and we all know how that one turned out.

It's really happening!

Another transfer broken on instagram. Instagram 3 - Twitter 1.

Well we should buy someone as it glaringly obvious they are sub standard.
I want Vidal too, and LvG clearly does, but the point is that today he had no-one else to play in CM to the point that he had to use Adnan there.
