The Di Maria deal is being ironed out by Mendes, there's no person more competent of doing it without problems .. and getting it done quickly.
Most likely the personal terms are already agreed, and the only thing delaying it are the club finalizing how the payments will be arranged etc.

If i remember correctly, people who were members of RI Sanctuary were insinuating that they were saying there was a lot of positive news about the Vidal deal in there. Nothing ever come of it though. I was tempted on signing up, but i'm not really sure if it'll be worth it

Urgh i hate saying this but that makes sense, especially after how the Utd Twitter has been constantly spammed with "Vidal", "sign Vidal", "who cares, where is vidal" etc and even members of the public asking Woody if we are buying Vidal :lol:, to then name drop Vidal TWICE, i don't know, it would be cruel by LVG if we aren't in for him.

Oh god, i just don't want to get dragged back into this Vidal shite because i just know deep inside we won't get him.:lol:

Yeah it's a £10 sign-up fee. Apparently, they do have some ITK info, but they're not always 100% reliable.

Quite a few people still sign up though. I'm not convinced though to be totally fair, as i say, from what people have been saying, they said a lot of stuff about Vidal in there, and nothing of note happened/was reported. I think quite a bit of it might just be what people want to hear, with a small amount of genuine ITK info and some negative news to balance it all out

Ferk that! Some fellers are rubbing their hands together making easier cash than wank line dames..Fair play...Some gullible muppets out there! I'd rather spend my hard earned tenner on a wank line (at least it has a happy ending):)

Yep, completely. I've been posting those same sentiments elsewhere, but was trying to calm the other chap from being disappointed if we only got one of him and Vidal!

The last time LVG name-checked a player things started to move.

By all accounts it's that United are briefing that they haven't agreed a fee, don't subscribe though just on twitter.
 
How likely is it that Louis van Gaal probably wanted to wait until january to move for Strootman, but after the displays in the first 2 matches he's changed his mind and realized that he'll need a player for the ''Strootman-role'' (what he called it when coaching the dutch national team), and feels like Vidal would be the most ideal fit?
 
If there are two other targets, I find it hard to believe Blind is one, it doesnt make sense as anything other than a panic buy. We have two players at least can play left back, he is merely an average midfielder when we need quality and we should learn our lesson of utility players from JOnes, Smalling nto progressing, we need specific types for specific positions.

Thanks guys, didn't think there would be much too it in all honesty.

I get a feeling this will be all wrapped up by Tuesday. It seems that he's told his team mates he's going to United judging be Alonso's tweet
 
After the draw today noticing a lot of the fans turning on LvG already.. I'm expecting more tough results in the coming few months, hopefully Di Maria's arrival will quell the unrest!

They shouldn't be. It's not been good but he's inherited a mess and has a track record turning such situations round.

But if people think it'll be instant, they're wrong. He's said as much himself.

We'll improve though and once he gets it right, we'll be fine and much stronger going forward.

Really?? Bloody hell who do people want as manager?

We have one of the best in the business at our club , proven time, and time again, if he can't turn it round then I really fear for us.

Yeah, was having a look around Facebook and Twitter, noticed so many people whinging about our performance.. Talk about knee jerk reaction!

That Pilib de Brún guy tweeted that he sent information to them about how a fee had not yet been agreed, having supposedly been sent an email from United. I guess whatever they are saying is coming from him and his email.

Considering he is on our ban list and that he has a history of being unreliable, I would not worry too much.
