Either Herrera and Rojo played for mediocre clubs. Di Maria would move from number one club in the world to number xx with no champions league.. it is a massive difference. Those guys are neither the very top players in that respect..unlike di Maria who was arguably Real Madrid best player last season - logically the best player in the world. Shame we couldnt get him before madrid from Benfica
He will hardly be dropping that far, if at all? Massive difference . We've had one bad season, before that we had more success both domestically and in Europe than Madrid. You sound like we've been in the wilderness for years trying to claw our way back in.
Believe it or not we are not only one of the biggest Clubs in World Football, we are one of the biggest sports club in the World.

I honestly don't think Perez gives a shit about anyone else. If he wants to sell, he will! He doesn't need any reason.

what i am saying is, if he wants his move, he would get his move to United. In respect to how much game time he gets, well thats up to Ancelotti and you can see from his reactions he won't get a lot of game time regardless if he was their best player last year or not. Calling bilbao a mediocre team is a little harsh. Sporting themselves haven't done too bad....the way it is, both teams would be getting CL football and we aren't, and the way everyone is going about it, its a big difference.

You'd think that we turned into a fecking pub team reading shit here sometimes.

If we'd really go with this system then Di Maria would be taking a slot from Rooney or Van Persie

Good, its needed not enough pace up front when they play together, especially with Mata in behind.

Wow, Balotelli wanting the salary that Real Madrid are refusing to pay Di Maria. Crazy.
Probably why Milan are so willing to get him off their wage bill and are accepting £16m. He's not worth half that salary.

Manchester United's Chicharito Hernandez is considered by Milan as Balotelli's replacement according to Sky Italy
Actually think sky italia should be on the banned list too. Talk about adding 2+2 and getting a potato. Completely disregarding the fact that they are trying to sell balotelli to get some cash in that they are desperate for. They won't be spending that on another player

Makes me think Jose was bang on about Juan and selling him. He's a lovely little player but...it's not you it's me.

Mata was a terrible buy. Not because he is a bad player, we just did not need him. I wish we had that money back from him and Fellaini last year.

Why would it mean that? Januzaj will get plenty of game time.

No it wouldn't. There is space for both - it gives us a Rooney/RVP/Mata conundrum though.

He would be behind Rooney, RVP, Welbeck, Di Maria for front 2 slots.

And Di Maria and Mata as AM. even discounting Kagawa.

Where does he get game time ? Doubt he would be content being a bench option for that long.

Di Maria in this formation would be bit of a niche and luxury signing tbh and won't solve our main problem area.Essential in a 4-3-3. He might actually do a better job than Mata in that role though in this formation as well.

Depends on how much they sell Mario and buy Chicha .... there is probably money still gained, while still getting a striker.

If he's good enough he will play, it's that simple.

I'm beginning to think so myself. Lovely little player but there's a reason why Jose sold and why he was always on the fringe of the Spanish squad.

Don't think of this as "turning" on Juan but we really could have used that money better especially if we were keeping Kagawa and needed to upgrade on the wings. Adnan will be great but he'll take time to develop. We really need a Hazard type player which I think Di Maria is (type in terms of impact and contribution he can make and who is more versatile).

A complete fantasy land hypothetical situation here because he wont be coming, but, if he did we would play 4-3-3.

That seems bit of a real madrid, City, Chelsea type move and bit ridiculous given he is a terrific talent and will really grow this season if given game time.

Agreed. Then it would make sense.
