You bet your ass money is playing a role in this. The other reason is he is getting older and wants to play with other stars and win as much he can.
Money's always a part but with Reus I think it has more to do with winning trophies consistently, because he's 25 now and hasn't yet won anything really (got unlucky with the world cup though).

Thats what I mentioned as well. He is getting older and want to win as much as he can.

 No one wants him now, why would they want him a year from now.

What is it we all these top players being linked with loan deals, clubs are just blatantly trying to get around ffp by using them.

Barcelona can't make transfers next summer, so they're apparently looking to bring a few more players in now and are considering loaning them back to the clubs for 1 year in order to help get them. Means they can come in next summer despite them being unable to make any transfers.

Likely these newspaper articles are just saying this with Barcelona in mind (it probably mentions Barca specifically in the article) as it is consistent with their situation and the notion they are doing next years summer business this year.

EDIT: Although, guess that only counts for Barca's apparent targets. Not sure what the deal is with Falcao and Balotelli.

Its becoming clear why Scholes wasn't offered a coaching job at United. You simply cannot have someone around the club who is so negative towards the players there.

I remember in 12/13 Scholes was asked in a then rare interview, who he most liked in the Prem. His answer was Mata. Has he said a decent word about Mata since the guy moved here?
To be fair mata,s only shown glimpses of the player that was chelsea player of the year 11/12 and 12/13 . He so far hasn't had the impact in a game that a silva , hazard or even a raheem sterling as had in the last 6 months .
He needs to affect games a lot more and before people say hes played out of position then so does silva when city play 2 up top and it doesn't effect his performance .

They all have games where they go missing, or don't contribute all that much.

Although with the likes of Mata, Ozil and Silva, they need other players around them to perform otherwise they make little impact. They need good supply behind them and good movement ahead of them.

Oh I think Lucho wants Cuadrado now but they weren't able to lower the transfer fee in negotiations with Fiorentina. The Reus rumour I don't understand at this point

Supposedly Reus was contacted by Zubi and worked on during the whole season. Then the injury happened and LE preferred Suárez. I'm not sure if he was a target for this or next season, but I imagine he was thought to replace Alexis. Pedro will probably leave next summer but I'm not sure where Reus would play now with all positions covered.

That's the point, the links to Reus have been off/on for more than a year but now? Just doesn't really make any sense

Maybe LE wants to change formation or give some competition to the three attackers. Reus could play both wings or even as 10 behind Suárez.

For all we know, Herrera may turn out a great signing, Shaw may be a beast, Rojo may become a really top player for us this year. Van Gaal may start winning games (which he will) and all of a sudden it was a good window and we are back on the up. People are moaning because of the on the field stuff, as soon as we start winning the moaning stops.

Although I maintain we need more for this window to be anything close to a success. But people saying ''Woodward hasn't gotten anywhere'' etc and the daft Glazer movements, it's all just kneejerk reactions to poor displays from the team and how bad last season was. We will turn it round.

If we sign nobody else but start winning, people will be more reasonable in their criticism. Was always the case under Fergie with out transfer policy. Gill was more anonymous than Woodward in buying players, but there was no ''Gill is a clown'' because we had Fergie winning us games all the time. Van Gaal will do that soon (maybe not to the same degree, but still).
The problem for us is that this is all being stirred up by the media and even though we should know better, we are being taken in by it.

Wouldn't make a difference as players would still need to be moved to accommodate Reus

Pedro is going out and who knows what other players could leave or what their state is in a year. LE wants competition inside the squad for all positions, has said so repeatedly.

Exactly. The clown has nearly 14000 posts on here in a few years. WTF! Seriously, why would a supposedly LFC fan want to spend so much time on an opposition forum? He needs to spend more time on his homework and think about getting a hobby or maybe a girlfriend.

They have enough attackers. If they are signing someone it has to be as big as Cavani or even Falcao (like they have a chance). But still those are the signings they need not another mediocre striker who can have some good days or mostly is just a bad influence on the team.

So grabbing 30 goals and 4 assists in 51 starts for City and 30 goals, 6 assists in 46 starts for Milan is classed as mediocre. Wow if that's mediocre I hate to think of your thoughts on Hernandez and Welbeck.

Yes he is an arrogant tw@t but he is a very good player on his day and only 24. Even Mourinho tipped him to be one of the worlds best if he gets his head straight. You never know Rodgers could get the best out of him.

That could apply to any of us internet losers if we're being honest.

Have I not paid much attention to other sources before, or have Sky always been this slow?

From what I have noticed they generally only put their name on something with a bit of credibility. They are not the best but more often than not they are one of the later outfits to report news like this.
