The sale of Marcos Rojo for Man.Utd, 9M € will go to the construction of our Pavilion. #SportingCP

Why haven't we announced the deal agreed yet? :( The player said it's happening, so did Sporting president. What's holding things up?

Pretty sad, Nani should be in the prime of his career instead he's going back to Sporting.

Feels like we're short in attack as well now. We have very little coming off the bench now.

Shame to see Nani gone, but it's probably the best for him and hopefully he can get his career back on track in some way.

According to Sky sources, apparently we're in for under-20 Brazilian international Lucas Silva from Cruzeiro, along with Spurs, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.

Also, when did Sky Sports turn into E!?

Read Jackson's article on the Guardian (posted earlier). We are trying to sort out the 3rd party liabilities before announcing him.

Just seen the Rojo confirmation now. That's alright then. We just seem to be getting a bit hard done by with this transfer, but what's new. We need a defender.

Yeah I think everyone knows how much we need players, Deals are going to be a one way street and not in our direction.

It´s just saying that 9 million from the Rojo transfer will be used to build our Pavillion for our other Sports departments (Roller Hockey, Handball, Basketball, Futsal etc etc)
Thanks mate! Do Sporting usually not declare the total amount they are receiving for the transfer though?

We were also interested in Lucas Silva the defender from Sao Paulo. Should sign both and let confusion ensue.

Anyone have a stream for this?

Edit: Found one. PM me if anyone wants it.
You watching? Jonathan Northcroft saying we're probably not interested as we have enough number 10's already :wenger::lol:.

Paying a player £120k a week to play for another team rather than keep him as a squad player where he could actually be useful, crazy.
If true, which I doubt it is, it would be a horrible testimony of Nani. That this is the only move he can make isn't much better.

We have to. We are a PLC and we have to report it to the CMVM (Portuguese stock exchange)

If we are paying his wages in full:
I'm sure Nani's delighted to be going back to Portugal, on a full wage, to find his feet, play every week and be treated like a hero.

Can't believe we handed this lump of crap a 5 year deal worth £120k a week last summer. The incompetence is staggering.
It really is appalling. If it's true, we've basically used him as a makeweight pawn to get Rojos in.

Much better than having him sit on his arse over here all season.
