What does that even mean?

We will give you ______ pounds for Samir Nasri, with an upfront amount of _______ and then ___ installments of _______.

Dear Samir

We'll pay you _______ pounds a week, _____ per appearance and _____ signing on fee.

There we go, framework of deal sorted.

Spanish site TabloideSport (on Twitter) claims we've signed Sneijder.

El Manchester United vuelve a la carga a por el fichaje de Wesley Sneijder.

Manchester United back to the load by signing Wesley Sneijder.

Modric not playing against Manchester United because "his head is not in the right place". - Harry Redknapp.

I hope this quote is from before the Mata signing. Don't want him going to Chelsea as well.

Someone called BobMDH on twitter says we've done the Sneijder deal. 160k a week + image rights topping the wage up to 220k a week and he's due on Tuesday for the medical. Seems to be a dutch fan journo, and well-followed also... Still havee doubts though.

Lots of rumours flying around.

Him not being inovolved in today's match just helped fuel the rumours. I believe he'll be ours soon.

Very likely that their signing of Mata is in no way connected to their pursuit of Modric - they won't play the same roles in the team.

They could always play Mata a bit centrally couldn't they? He did well there in the summer didn't he?

in the summer as in for Spain U21? He didn't play in midfield - it was mostly out wide and occasionally as a false nine.

FC Utrecht back adds ammunition entering the 2011-12 season. This time they managed to bring in Rodney Sneijder on loan for a season full of Ajax Amsterdam.

Inter Milan playmaker younger brother, Wesley Sneijder is indeed failed to find a place in team principal Frank De Boer's squad during the last few seasons. He hopes the loan to Utrecht, will increase flying hours and to improve the quality of play.

"Ajax and Utrecht agreed to a move Rodney Sneijder. Lending will run until June 30, 2012. Contract the midfielder is still valid until June 30, 2013 with Ajax," the statement on the official website of Ajax.

Utrecht does require the presence of a new quarterback after the death of Michael Silberbauer, Kevin Strootman, and Barry Maguire in the summer. Sneijder could be expected to patch the holes left by bberapa pillar.

Sneijder himself was born and raised in Utrecht, although he is a product of the Ajax academy built. Unfortunately, since the main squad through the 20-year-old player was not even appear to defend Ajax in the official event.

Sneijder chance diving debut with Utrecht in the Eredivisie match next week when they travel to Roda JC Kerkrade headquarters. (Irawan)

see, i don't believe in it all. who can have any sort of idea if a transfer is going to be concluded or not. I say - presidents of two clubs, other members of the board, some executives, both managers, the player, his agent, and maybe 2-3 other people from accounting deps. that gives what - 15 people max, 12 of whom are high profile, probably with a great capability to keep their mouth shut. so where all those journos take these pieces of information from? especially those based in other countries? what has Wesley phoned him or what?

Also, does having 118 followers now mean one's "well followed"; thought it'd take more than that TBH.

Yep. Chairmen and managers tell the medical staff the details of other employees' contracts all the time. That's just how they do business at OT. I bet Rene Meulensteen knows exactly what bonus David Gill gets.
