Has Barton got a club yet?
No, just a pair of knuckle-dusters and some boxing gloves.

Apparently Atl. Madrid have signed Falcao for €40m
Assuming for arguments sake that's it's not all BS, then I wouldn't think that Ruiz or Cardozo (or someone like that) really fit the two descriptions of "big name" and "very special player".Will just be Ruiz or Cardozo or someone like that
@wayneveysey: "Spurs are about to sign a big-name player. All agreed. And it's not #Adebayor. Watch this space on Goal.com."
Oooh, even more excitement, following on from the tweet by @CNathaniel1
I've never been a fan of Twitter, but I sense a conversion coming on
Why are people taking the tweets about Spuds signing someone seriously when this thread is full of dozens and dozens of tweets about players signing for other clubs that turned out to be complete nonsense?
Twitter.
Predicting that Harry Redknapp is going to sign a player soon ( in the last 2 weeks of the transfer window ) is hardly the most outlandish prediction you can make is it.
I'm sure there will be some new Sneijder news today to keep us annoyed but attentive over the weekend.

APPIANO GENTILE – This morning the Nerazzurri carried out their last training session before Inter v Olympiacos, the team's final pre-season friendly, which is scheduled for a 18:00 kick-off in Geneva tomorrow. The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sport Italia, while Inter Channel will be showing post-match footage from 20:00 and a replay of the game at 23:00.
After warming up, the main group of players were taken through a series of technical and tactical drills combined with some athletic work. Dejan Stankovic, after being given a check-up by the club's medical staff, went home early with a temperature. Lucio worked with his team-mates for the first part of the session before having physiotherapy for the bruising on his left leg, following the knock he picked up in the TIM Trophy on Thursday evening. Wesley Sneijder was absent for personal reasons. Samuel Eto'o trained separately. Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, Raffaele Di Gennaro, Yuto Nagatomo, Nelson Rivas and Emiliano Viviano continued their personalised rehabilitation programmes.
Maicon is in Brazil to have an operation on the meniscal injury to his right knee: after consultation with Inter's chief of medical staff Franco Combi, the surgery will be carried out by professor José Luis Runco, who is in charge of the medical team for the Brazilian national side.
Coutinho will be involved in the Under-20 World Cup final being played this evening (3:00 CET).
