Because you gotta toughen up in this game, I seen new Muppets before Nick, good promising muppets with a lot of heart and a burning desire to sign anyone. But you gotta toughen up in this game or else they'll get you, move wise and be smart because they're after you Nick, they're after all of us - I don't wanna see another Muppet take a jump, or blow their own head off again.

Agreed with that, it's a cut-throat industry. One second you take your eyes off it, you're out.
Not really they usually go all in with with something that has been mentioned somewhere before. That intheknow99 guy said De Gea would be presented after the CL final for example as a United signing. Well where is the presentation? Sure they can't be right about everything, things happens but I'm not convinced until someone calls something from out of the air.

I think that De Gea is changing agents which was apparently holding things up. Think he is changing to use Jorge Mendes, who happens to be a popular agent with United.

Yup, as I understand it, De Gea's contract with his current agent expires on June 30 and then the next day (or within the following few days) he'll sign with Mendes and complete his move to United.

It's just that all these twitter rumours remind me of the nonsense you see on the "rumours" section of sky sports website - "I know a bloke who saw Kaka looking in the window of an estate agent in Cheshire" - which always got the scorn they deserved, rather than an entire thread dedicated to them.
Seems to me that any of the sources who actually know what they're talking about are the same people that journalists have been talking to for years. So any remotely credible information will be all over the papers anyway. Why bother re-postng all the rest of the drivel?
