I dont think we'd miss Anderson much. I wouldnt classify it as a massive loss at all. Evra will definitely be a loss due to the very factors you mentioned though. Getting someone of Baines's quality would be a big boost though.
Missing Anderson will be mostly off-field though, as he seems like an amazing character. I really cant dislike the fella, despite him perhaps not being the footballer we all want him to be. Still, all this change is fecking with me as we're hardly used to change at this club.

Same here, would love to see him make it here. Fantastic lad.

Am okay with the change. Would have loved to see Rene stay but changes in the staff is inevitable with a new manager. Would hate to see too many players leave though, hopefully it doesnt happen.

Both Real Madrid and Man City have met Julian Draxler's £40m buy-out clause, but he doesn't want to move. http://bit.ly/18laLmz #RMFC
This is all over the news here in Germany, at the moment.

Schalke's general manager Horst Heldt did confirm this and told Draxler but he said that he still needs to learn and gain experience plus bulk up to be able to be a success at an international club.

We might see a move next year or the one after. Cracking talent the kid.

Sensible as well by the sound of it.

I'm glad someone said Draxler 'needs to bulk up' early on, get it out of the way.

If Evra leaves I'll genuinely be gutted :(

Same. I'll be more gutted if Evra leaves than if we don't sign Thiago, and I've gone full-on muppet for Thiago, lead by blind optimism and faith and not really any facts at all. I love Pat :(

I also feel he doesn't want to ruin his chances of getting a spot in our NT for 2014, which might happen if he ended up on the bench of City or Real. I have to say it's nice to see for once a footballer making a wise and sensible decision instead of taking the big fat pay check and wondering about if it was the right move later.

Yup! Potentially without Evra, Nani, Rooney, Anderson to add to the loss of Scholes, Fergie and the backroom staff going into next season, with Ferdinand, Giggs and possibly Fletcher not having long either. A lot of change in the next two or three years!

Yep. Whatever happened to the "don't change too much too soon" mantra.

By all accounts we aren't intentionally changing everything, Fergie wanted to retire, Evra wants to leave, Rene wanted to leave and Rooney wants a transfer, these are situations beyond the clubs control. Moving Anderson on is no big deal.

They checked his PA in FM.

172 in my game. Not bad. My scout says he has the potential to become an important first team player. I guess City got wind. I've asked Jim Lawlor to be more careful with his reports in future. I'm considering replacing him with Robbie Cooke.

I hope that's nonsense. Much rather have Garay if we are hell bent on signing a CB

Is this the masterplan of playing with only centerbacks? We have 5 CB, Keance making the jump to the first team and we're interested on Garay and Ranichia. We need another two, surely.

Man utd transfers:Geofftey Kondogbia could leave Sevilla for £8.5m this summer, the Spanish club's president has revealed.

Hey!

Yeah, he had some sort of agreement like 6 months ago with you, but the only official one was Reyes. Herrera here is highly rated, but still very young. Some of us think he has to be one of the 2 men in midfield in the national team, but Chepo de la Torre thinks otherwise. He is versatile, kind of box-to-box midfielder and very intelligent. I actually like him a lot. Probably going to you in his worst footballing moment yet, but with a good preseason and regularity he can be very, very good for you. Actually, I think Herrera "HH", as we call him here, and Reyes are going to be great because you took them, and what better team for them to start an adventure in Europe than Porto.

8m for 80% of his pass? That could turn out to be a bargain.

Thank you, that's excellent.

I forgot about Reyes. Probably means we'll sell one of either Otamendi or Mangala...

Ok then.
