Nothing, he's clearly concerned about Ronaldo's health and saying that he is here if his brother needs him.

I would be all for Ronaldo running his contract down and coming back on a cheap. Still not convinced DM would want the ego that comes with Ronnie.

Are you kidding? Moyes would be ******* his lights out to work with a player like Ronaldo. He hardly seems the type to kick up a fuss on the training pitch, from what everybody says he is like Beckham. First on, and last off the training pitch.

Hehe, have a word with him Rio.
I don't think we need to worry about that, I reckon he's been in his ear telling him to come back for a long long time.

Did not read what Mourinho said? Called him a bit of a diva, threw a wobbler if anyone suggested how to improve his game.

No new rumours? Boooo!

How about this:

Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United return odds tumble after he denies signing new Real Madrid deal http://mirr.im/19wABEh #transfers

Nothing unusual, just a bit of transfer muppetry from The Mirror. But, it was followed up by this tweet by Gregory Ioannidis - who is a well-known sports lawyer:

@LawTop20
This is confirmed. Ronaldo is very close to agreeing a deal with Man Utd. Again.

He then protected his tweets. Mysterious (bollocks) eh? :)

Based on what I read in the newbs, he protected his tweets after admitting that speculative ESPN article was his source. So, basically, he knows feck all.

Mourinho isn't stupid. If he has an inkling that Cristiano will move to us he could easily throw something like this out there to try to put his foot in it. I'm not saying its definitely the case but just a few months ago he called Cristiano the best player ever and gushed about how totally fantastic he was. I'm sure he didn't just mysteriously become uncoachable in the last two months?

I'm probably reading too deep here but its not come too far after Bellamy's book extracts on how Moyes went cold on his transfer because he'd been told something.

This has to be one of the worst rumours I've heard so far in this muppet season.
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has reportedly been seen arriving at Arsenal's home ground the Emirates.

A talkSPORT caller has claimed that he is '100% sure' that he spotted Rooney arriving at the Emirates in a black Mercedes this morning.

There are no suggestions that the apparent sighting is related to a potential transfer.

Disappointing. And how come the newbies are so far ahead of us? Pick it up man, call your ITK friends and feed the mains some exclusives!

to be honest while I rate Mourinho very highly he's got a very big ego. And it's fair to say Ronaldo's got one as well. Very rarely do things like this work out without either of them throwing a tantrum or end up disgruntled.
Not saying Mourinho's in the wrong here, I'm just saying we should probably take these sorts of comments with a pinch of salt.

Based on what I have just thought, am pretty sure he made up that ESPN was his source to protect his actual source.

That's my mind made up.

And there is our muppet transfer twitter of the day  It's been a slow day so that doesn't say much. BUT STILL!

Graham Hunter: "I see Ronaldo playing for Manchester United within the next 2 seasons" #mufc

It's still the 2012/3 until July 1, so this is one of the two seasons, thus the second season is 2013/4. If he is to both sign in 13/4 AND play it will either have to be before Sept 1 or in the winter transfer window.

Basically, it's on.

I really don't like that United are bring used to get Ronaldo a bigger deal. But it's not the first time a Madrid player has done so. Casillas did the same.

And ManUtdStuff casually changed the ESPN article from United finalising to a deal to put to Madrid to finalising a deal with Madrid. ManUtdStuff is a terrible account.

Old Trafford target set to leave Nou Camp side keen to bring in funds to invest in defence. Man United are set to sign Barcelona youngster Thiago Alcantara according to Sport.es.
