If United/Moyes are going after Jovetic then some forward is leaving
Moyes could have been following certain players (like Jovetic perhaps) for a long time but didn't have the financial power to go after them. Now he has a lot more options available to him he can really go after players he wants, I think if there is any weight behind this that it means Moyes could be preparing for Rooney's departure.
Times are reporting Chelsea have "hijacked Arsenal" for him so I don't think the press have much clue with what's going on with this one.
Clubs and agents leak rumours to suit their agendas.
I'm not going to get my hopes up but I don't understand why so many people laugh off the idea that Ronaldo might like to come back here.
He had his most successful time of his career with us and became the best player in the world here. He has lots of friends here, clearly has a lot of affection for the club, the fans adore him which we know massages that ego of his. At Madrid the dream never really kicked on, despite the talents of the team it never peaked in the way it should and now at 28 he's at a managerless club that is about to have a clear out and start yet another cycle from scratch. By the time they gel a new team together he's going to be 30+. He's got just a couple of years left on his contract and its time to make the biggest decision of his career. One that will affect the next 5-10 years and decide his legacy.

This week you can close it Guille Varela to Manchester United. 1,800,000 euros free for Peñarol.
Posted by a newbie. Looks legitimate btw.
The person is a reporter for Penarol.
Is he that right back? If so, strange move.
Why? He's a young lad and it looks like they're paying buttons for him.
He's obviously impressed in trial, so for that fee he's worth a punt.
The reason most think it's strange is we already have two young RB's in the Twins.
Yep. And both Jones and Smalling for cover.
The fee? The wages?
The fact the manager he loved and was massively pandered to has just gone?
I really can't see Moyes managing him, allowing him not to defend when we haven't got the ball, and embracing his talents!
Then it tells me he must have been exceptional in his trial. That can only be good for us; and for £1.5M you can't really go wrong.
Maybe this Penarol guy is a right-sided Baines and he can hoof the ball up to Felliani.bite?
Who can then flick it on to our Rooney replacement, Anichebe.
Who can then run and celebrate with our Meulensteen replacement, Phil Neville.

Weel known ITKs Garda Traffic announced Ronaldo was going back to united and that the traffic collision on the n3 outbound is now clear.
Except one is a left back?
Smalling and Jones can both play there - but both look more like centre halfs. This kid has been on trial and if they sign him he's clearly impressed. The money is next to nothing so I see no reason not to.
Still laughing at that.
Probably for the U21s, as we've released more or less our entire defensive line and it's most likely that all of Thorpe, Wooton and Keane is going out on loan again.
Why would you pay £1.5m for someone watched by 300 people every week?
