Apparently there was a tweet saying welcome back Cristiano and it was deleted quickly not sure if the account was hacked.

So that's why you went...;)

 Well, the tickets were part of a package deal that allowed me to buy United tickets before they went on general sale.

Maybe he was just desperate to entice Juventus into signing him -- FreddieBoswell7 on Twitter has been adamant for ages Juventus is all Jovetic wants.

Could be, it was a while back, though. 2009 or 2010 I think.

Load of twitter accounts now reporting all at once that Strootman has agreed to a 5 year deal, will be unveiled July 1st when Moyes takes over:

United 360™ ‏@Utd360 11m
Dutch newspapers are reporting that Manchester United have signed Kevin Strootman on a 5 year deal. To be announced on July 1st.

Manchester United ‏@allmanunited 5m
Kevin Strootman has reportedly signed a 5 year deal with Man United and is rumoured to join when Moyes takes charge on July 1st.

Everything Man Utd™ ‏@Every_ThingMUFC 2m
Strootman has reportedly agreed a 5-year-deal with Man United and will be unveiled on July 1st when David Moyes takes charge.

Yeah, well if United 360™ and Everything Man Utd™ report it, it must be true.

Portuguese paper ''A Bola'' reporting that Ronaldo will NOT extend his contract at Madrid, which runs until 2015.

Massive tease that.

Marca coming up with an odd claim :

Transfer News Live ‏@DeadlineDayLive 6m
New Chelsea manager José Mourinho has told Roman Abramovich that he is free to sell Juan Mata and Fernando Torres. (Source: Marca)

Yeah sell their best player, makes sense (Mata).

^He's only been there a day & he's already telling the owner what he can and can't do.^ ;)

Sounds credible.

EDIT> Bugger me sideways. Marca are actually reporting it:

Article:

My translation:
The two Spanish footballers have a complicated future.

Chelsea's two Spanish footballers, Mata and Torres, have complicated futures with Mourinho because the Portuguese coach has asked Abramovich to listen to offers for both.

In the last few days, Chelsea have targeted forwards such as Dzeko and Jovetic as reinforcements, which would provoke an 'overbooking' of the club's forward department.

If that thing is true about Mata, we should bid whatever we can. He's a quality player!
I'm sure it's bullshit.

Selling Mata

Like Moyes walking in here and selling RVP straight away. Complete bullshit and only a simpleton would take anything like that seriously.

I'm not going to get my hopes up but I don't understand why so many people laugh off the idea that Ronaldo might like to come back here.

He had his most successful time of his career with us and became the best player in the world here. He has lots of friends here, clearly has a lot of affection for the club, the fans adore him which we know massages that ego of his. At Madrid the dream never really kicked on, despite the talents of the team it never peaked in the way it should and now at 28 he's at a managerless club that is about to have a clear out and start yet another cycle from scratch. By the time they gel a new team together he's going to be 30+. He's got just a couple of years left on his contract and its time to make the biggest decision of his career. One that will affect the next 5-10 years and decide his legacy.

The main reason why it's unrealistic to me is the giant transfer fee, it's will need to fork out,

Just can't see it happening.

If Mata's in the shop window we better make an effort to get him. Straight swap for Rooney?

The only way it would ever happen is if he made it clear he's only coming to us.

That way we'd get him for his true value rather than an inflated auction price. If he really wanted to leave and come to us I think they'd take £60m and I think we'd pay it.

Why would he even want to sell Mata? makes no sense what so ever.

He's binning everyone to make room for Mendes clients. No conflict of interest there at all!

No chance Chelsea will sell Mata. I can only assume Jose is trying a power play to prove he has the full say-so over transfers or something, if this is true, but Mata won't be leaving.

Love it if he did, of course.

Conspiracy theory #2: He's getting rid of Torres & Mata because they are 'Rafa men'.

Why the feck would Chelsea sell Mata?

They must have confused him with that Ariol guy, or whatever his name is.
