He pretends to be ITK, but he just reads whatever is being speculated and repeats it as a fact.
Add that to the fact that he has a few media connections, his hit/miss ratio is slightly better than pure guesswork, but its still a long way from being reliable.

To be fair to the genuine ITK's, of which there are some (although I'm not convinced of any on the caf), it very rarely comes from anyone at United. It's usually the selling club or agent that let information out.

I believe him, when trying to keep it under wraps do you really think Ferguson and Gill would let 25+ footballers who also have a personal interest in whoever comes in in terms of competition and future success know who we are trying to sign?

It'd be out in no time if they did, considering how many footballers try to keep good relationships with journalists in order to get favourable press.
