Has this been substantiated?

Nani on future: “I’ve already won everything I could possibly win [at United] & football isn’t just the EPL. I want to broaden my horizon.”

It was talked about yesterday in the Nani thread:

From Voetbal International - Dutch football magazine.

Allegedly. Consider bullshit until proper source appears.

The same quotes were said about a month ago in the Daily Mail but worded differently (in an interview to a Portuguese radio station):

'Football is not only about England or Spain. It is possible to enjoy success in other countries.

He continued: 'I have fulfilled five seasons with United and obtained all the titles.'

And tweets not by the player are supposed to be posted in the twitter thread to speculate there.

While the tournament is going on the speculation will just continue. When Portugal are knocked out we'll find out fairly quickly one way or the other what is going to happen.

The quotes may be real but he reportedly has said the same thing before in the past.

Good player. Much rather have a decent player who has played in the PL, than take a risk on a foreign player that may not work out. Just wish we got him for 5m when he left Wigan!

I dont mind him as a player, more i think hes actually 4-5 th best full back in this league. But prices that are floating around are just crazy.

True, but anything less than £12m is good business for United

He's 27 as well which means he'll have about 4-5 seasons before starting to decline. If the deal is clone to 20M as suggested in the press then I think it'll be a poor signing really. If however the deal is closer to 10M then its not too bad.

He'll improve our squad for sure, just needs to be good value for money is all.

Get Baines and you'll have the best collection of fullbacks, centre backs and wingers in the league. Maybe Goalkeepers too.

If we spend 15 mil on Baines, I think that would be our last signing of the season.

That source is a hardly reliable.
Wouldn't mind... but don't really want.

He'd be a good addition to the squad but he is hardly a player we must sign. I'd prefer us to strengthen CM before signing players in other positions.

To be fair, any competition for Evra is a must at this stage. Hopefully they will push each other to perform better, and give Evra rest. Plus his set pieces would be a huge plus.

Baines better then average, he is one of the better left back's in the league. But like most the problem I have is age and price. Fair to say he has been better then Evra over the past 2 season just not 18million worth better. Plus he is almost 28.

Mirror suggesting #MUFC may step up interest in Leighton Baines. Last time I checked, there was some interest but not at the £15m level.

We should be signing a younger LB to eventually replace Evra at this stage. Not someone who is 28.

Baines is good - Evra is still better.

I wouldn't mind Baines - but there are probably better value for money out there. But if the alternative is noone at all - Id take Baines

isnt that the hope with fabio though?

The lad needs game time, if he can push on and develop like rafael did, we have no problems.

Would be happy to see Baines sign, but not for anything close to £15m - half that, and fine. Otherwise it seems a massive waste of money.

Mario Balotelli: "I will invite Shakira to the final, so that she can see what I will do to her boyfriend"

@MiguelDelaney: Understand Levy won't sell Modric to an English club. Trying his hardest to not anyway. United, by the by, definitely looking into Moutinho.

If its true.... Why? Its not like Spurs are title contenders. No matter what people thought this season, Spurs are far from being title contenders even if Arsenal, Chelsea had a bad season.
