Kicker reporting Kagawa will sign for #MUFC, despite links elsewhere. @SanBorussia done a sterling job with that one.

Posted in the Kagawa thread but may as well put it here too

Kagawa to MUFC transfer is nearly completed. fee €15m rising to €22m. Sporting director Zorc: "some details tbc". (via Kicker)

That's £12m rising to £17.6m

Hopefully it'll be £17.6m then as that's usually based on team and personnel success!

I'm very very excited to watch him week in week out if he does join. I think he could be a real gem for us at good price too!

Kagawas on international duty, will sign when he gets back.

No rush as the window isnt even open yet :wenger:

@GuardianJamieJ
Kagawa currently earns relatively little at dortmund so his wage demands should be no problem to #mufc move

Twitter says Canal+ reporting that a bid of 8.5m plus Chamakh has been accepted for Giroud. I haven't seen him play, is he a good player?

Saw him for France the other night. He came on as a sub and the commentators were singing his praises. He is a big striker that looks handy with the ball both in the air and on the floor. Don't think he's anything special though, just a good option.

I think that 8.5m and Chamakh would be a great deal if they can pull it off.

Bayern scouted Giroud extensively before pulling out earlier this month. Make of it what you will.

Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms with Manchester City's Edin Dzeko, according to "Sport 1". #FCB #MCFC

Pizzaro and Dzeko?

I have a horrible feeling City might go after Llorente, he's class and I like him :(

Pizzaro and Dzeko?

Exactly what I thought. Pizarro one could understand, he won't be too displeased to sit on the bench, 'put pressure on Gomez' but I can't imagine Dzeko leaving City for that, where he can easily do that and collect a bigger pay check at the end of the week?

They were sniffing around Cavani earlier this season.

Yeah, I'd imagine some of the usual suspects if City were to sell/lose 2-3 of their strikers: RvP, Ibrahimovic, Cavani, Llorente or Higuain. Probably in that order as well.

Breaking News on Sky is the Dzeko going to Bayern story

I must admit I'll be disappointed if Dzeko goes. He is shite.

He scored 14 league goals this season in 16 starts and 14 substitute appearances.

That's not that bad; people here are saying Welbeck has had a brilliant season with his 9 Premier League goals in 23 starts and 7 sub appearances.

Bayern know how to do transfers. Its not yet June and they've got rid of 5 players and brought in 6 new ones.

Dzeko's season has been more like Berbatov's than Welbeck's.

A crushing disappointment all round.
