Yes.

Its in the morning paper, not on the online version.

Hmm. This is where I have my doubts. L'Equipe isn't some tinpot Newspaper. This is seemingly a massive exclusive on probably the most sought after transfer story in Europe atm. Such a big story is normally teased by the journo/editor on twitter beforehand and is damned sure to be on the website at the very least... Are there any French tweets corroborating the tweet atleast?

Doew anyone know which twitter account this claim was originated from? Eurosport are dodgy, well the English one is anyway. Not sure about its French equivalent though.

EDIT - Never mind :-)

Oh thats ok then. It's only TransfersCentre.

They also say that United are still in the picture although they say that the City's move is dead.

feck knows what on earth is going on. This guy is one pricey twat.

The thing that makes me happy is the fact that we are in the running. We have the money we can go for Kagawa if this lad goes to Chelsea or City.

So Chelsea are in pole according to L'Equipe but we're still in with a chance?

Seems to be like all other stories in the past week, just they're claiming Chelsea are favorites to sign him whereas other 'sources' have said United are favorites.

I don't think the papers have a clue as to what is going on and we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I hope this gets resolved sometime this week so that we can move onto other targets.

We're going for both.

It's a sunday-newspaper story, and we all know how that goes - eye-catching headline to gain sales, no quotes. We can expect further rubbish this summer like '£150m Ronaldo back to United!' & 'Mou wants Henderson'.

Going for both seems rather pointless. It still leaves our midfield in conundrum. I don't know how we'd fit them both and still give Welbeck and Cleverley a chance.

Its the same story from the I think it the Sunday Telegraph last week.

@PhilippeAuclair

Hazard: L'Equipe reports this morning - using the conditional - that it is now between Man Utd and Chelsea only, with Chelsea favourite.

One more.

it says its between united and chelsea
Chelsea offering him a 5 year deal. Us till 2016?
same wages 550k/month net

agent in london.. chelsea slight favorites.
Doesnt say its a done deal.
so whoever posted that in the hazard thread should be banned :D

Anzhi Makhachkala try to tempt Nani to Russian Premier League. #MUFC #Anzhi thenational.ae/sport/football…

Anzhi has money to burn and are willing to spend it on a huge level.

I was reading about Anzi. Makhachkala is so dangerous that the players have to live in Moscow, fly in on a jet before the games and then straight out again after the games.

It really is the ultimate mercenary club.

But they have a wonderful project

Well, if Modric costs the same as Hazard (35-40mill I suppose?), I'd take Modric. Mainly as Modric is more a CM, and a bloody good player to boot.

Imagine what twitter would have been like in 2001 when you had big money transfers in every League.

Who's Marc?

algernonradish

Marc Wilmots "Hazard won't make any further announcements until his new club has issued a statement. no more news for at least 10 days."

Shinji Kagawa deal to Manchester United all but done according to Kicker.

All I can see is if you put "Kicker""Kagawa" in to the twitter search most German tweeters saying - German Kicker have said that Kagawa is almost a 100% done deal. But they don't mention the team.
