Of all the boats not to mysteriously sink without trace.

God I can't stand Roger Stone. If I had to create a list of the top 10 punchable faces in the world he'd be number 1.

Dele Ali aside, of course.

Wolf on CNN is all excited about this story. Abruptly broke to commercial so he can launch into this in a minute.

I can imagine. This story would be a bombshell story if we were living in normal times.

A more salient question is whether Trump himself is being manipulated by the likes of Russia, China, and others in a similar fashion to how Kushner is being played. Both of them have liabilities with other governments.

Oh Carter....when will you just stop talking.

Cuomo is such a good news interviewer, he’s sharp as a razor, it doesn’t matter who he’s interviewing he sets the tone perfectly, has the authority to lead the discussion and is one of few that doesn’t allow th subject to deflect. He’ll press his point until he’s either got an answer or highlighted their avoidance to the point of ridicule.

In terms of setting the tone in this interview, it was borderline humouring Page.

Yeah he's a pro. His Dad was my political idol growing up. He would be proud to see his son in action today.

Even if he's not being actively manipulated by them, I suspect his policy is certainly at least partly dictated by what business interests he has in each country; certainly he isn't going to apply damaging economic sanctions to any of them if it's likely to hurt his own personal interests.

Just saw that. Trump's WITCH HUNT tweet is starting to make more sense now. He probably knew a lot of today's stories were about to break before they came out.

You think?

And do you think he is panicking? And desperate? Or genuinely thinks he has nothing to worry about?

I think he's absolutely bricking it. Mueller is one chess move away from flipping Manafort, now that he's successfully secured Gates' testimony. If Manafort flips then there are no more people on the pecking order before reaching Trump himself. I also believe that one of the reasons Manafort is fighting so hard to not be flipped is he doesn't want to be the fall guy for Trump's demise and yet he will have to spill the beans.

I hope Manafort & other suspects have personal protection.

Fair enough. You think that Manafort was/is holding out for someone else to flip or drop the dime on Trump songs didn't have to be the one?

It's been a bit strange recently. The Republicans have been relatively quiet and Trump hasn't been Tweeting as much either.

When he does tweet, its usually just before something significant happens with either the Mueller case or one of the two congressional Russia investigations.

I personally think he's in too deep at this point in terms of firing Mueller. When Rosenstein came out to announce the indictments against 13 Russians a couple of weeks back, it sort of sucked the life out any momentum to sack Mueller. He could obviously still try, but at this point, doing so would be far more damning than simply allowing him to do his job.

Yeah, I see your point. He's also facing massive questions regarding his refusal to implement the sanctions that were voted on by Congress nearly a month ago now. That looks more and more suspicious each passing day with all the new stories that keep coming to light.

On top of all this we have now seen convincing evidence that links Farage, Wikileaks, and numerous other outsiders to the Russian angle.

The pieces are all falling in to place. I think Mueller has played a masterstroke in the way he has kept everything out the news but also the timing of all the indictments. It really is like when they say if you put a frog in boiling water he will just jump out, but put him in cold water and slowly turn up the heat and it will boil to death.....

Trump is that frog and he's nearly boiling
