Too stupid to indict.
In that case, the Trump Admin has double protection in the form of the immunity from presidential pardons and sheer stupidity.
Too stupid to indict.
Very long article on Paul Manafort.
https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2018/03/paul-manafort-american-hustler/550925/
Hugely enlightening regarding his past activities, long ties to the GOP and absolutely moral-free mindset, including helping restore the reputations of some utterly vile people who engaged in activities such as killing children and using women as sex slaves.
The guys a fecking monster.

Watergate lawyer John Dean tweeted that Gates' guilty plea & cooperation pledge 'could mean the end of Trump's presidency'.
Here's what he said, chief:
“Mueller is throwing everything he can against Manafort, including Gates who can nail him. Increasingly it appears Manafort is the link to Russian collusion. If Gates can testify that Manafort was acting with Trump’s blessings, it’s the end of his presidency. That’s substantial.”

No more Trump Pence steps in. FML
Four more years! Four more years!
The Redcaf's traffic will have fallen by 50% if Trump leaves the scene. We need him around -- comic relief.
That's a pretty solid assessment. Mueller wouldn't be wasting his time attempting to flip Manafort for so long if he didn't think there was a massive pay off at the end of the rainbow. Getting Manafort to flip and testify against Trump would be a bit like when Sammy the Bull Gravano flipped and testified against John Gotti. It was ostensibly the end of the Gambino crime family.
I thought that when he was elected but the joke soon got old. He is a godsend to the media though.
What do you think Manafort has on Trump? Setting up the Russian connection, a quid pro quo for Trump to have financial access to the shadier characters' bank balance for laundering for the Trump Organisation is my guess. And the influence of America policy in return like sanctions etc.
Just speculation on my part, but I would think Mueller is after whether or not Manafort and Trump worked together on a quid pro quo situation whereby the Russians would hack and provide derogatory information on Hillary to Wikileaks in order to help Trump with an implicit or explicit quid pro quo that Trump would change the Republican platform on Ukraine as well as (if elected) remove Obama's sanctions against Russia. If that is proven then Mueller will have a "Conspiracy against the United States" case against Trump, and as Dean is suggesting, it will be the end of his Presidency.
His lack of action on Russian sanctions looks worse with every passing day.
Is that not treason? And is treason against your country punishable by death?
Why the hell is Swallwell trolling Carlson ? Something new to drop ?

True. Mueller has a multi-pronged approach or many ways to skin this pussy.
I always think his financial dealings are the most target rich, easiest environment considering that Trump has always been only motivated by money. His greed has always blinded him. Nothing but history repeating itself.
As I see it, we are two final pieces of the puzzle away from resolution. Mueller likely already has a mountain of information that we don't know about - as in, he already knows the answers to all of the questions by way of evidence from voice intercepts and other sources.
1. Mueller therefore knows that in order to nail Trump, he has to get flip Manafort by absolutely nailing him for a potential life in prison charge by way of Gates' testimony against him. Once Manafort flips, he will testify against Trump, which leads us to part two.
2. Trump himself will have to testify at some point, which is where Mueller can nail him on any or all of perjury, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy.
If Trump and Manafort's stories don't match up then Mueller will rely on his other testimony from a platoon of other Trump associate witnesses he has already interviewed, along with whatever cards he is hiding right now, such as the aforementioned voice intercepts and other sources.
At that point, Trump will be absolutely done and may even face an indictment (despite the conjecture that Presidents can't be indicted).
Part me of me would love to disappoint Hope Hicks.
Then I remember that I've got serious issues and it all makes sense.
