Yes, absolutely. Destroy the government and all its branches, disenfranchise minority voters, privatize education and everything else, and make a shit ton of money in the process.
The motivation differs. But the endgame is the same.
They are all just a bunch of racists trying to get even richer. Trump is not the problem, the whole GOP is.

Pence would be immensely better (which says how awful Trump has been). Foreign policy wise, we would revert back to standard operating procedure with Europe, Russia, China, North Korea, TPP would be back on the table. Domestically, the executive branch of government, the IC and justice sectors would be under less pressure to politicize, no more Twitter meltdowns, severely reduced Fox News douchbaggery with Hannity and friends behaving like a Pravda for the White House, democratic institutions like the media, rule of law, etc that Trump has spent time degrading would bounce back. Pence would of course still be a terrible President in the Ted Cruz vein, but he would be exponentially better than the utter Trash heap of a statesman that Trump is.

That was my understanding as well, and I thought it's the obvious one, but judging by some of the replies in here, it appears a number of people would actually prefer a narcissistic career criminal running their country.

For me its simply a choice of a terrible President (Pence) and an even more terrible President who is mentally unhinged and sitting atop a lot of firepower. The nation would be more than happy to oblige Pence's faux-pious schtick for 24 months than have to deal with Trump's daily shithouse drama of tweeting every paranoid thought that happens to cross his mind, attacking democratic institutions, dealing with a paralyzed Presidency due to weekly indictments, and generally turning the country into a laughable reality show.
 
Weisselberg only gave evidence once, a while back, and that was all to do with Cohen. He’s got his deal now, so what’s the motivation for him to dish any further dirt on Trump and crew? Am I missing something as everyone gets giddy around here?

Self-preservation. If the prosecutors at SDNY have negative evidence on the Trump organization then Weisellberg, who has been its CFO for 3 decades, would likely be involved. The immunity allows him to save his own hide while providing prosecutors up to 30 years worth of potentially negative information on Trump's own activities.

Completely agree with this. Pense isn't actually insane and the Republicans would have more independence in the Congress because Pence doenst have the base movement that Trump does which allows him to get away with batshit crazy things. Trade will be fixed, foreign policy back to an acceptable normal and the corruption and scandal would seize immediately. Pence has his own crazy Conservative beliefs but with a dem Congress none of the far right crap will pass anyway. He's much better even if you're a Bernie Bro

There is actually some degree of policy overlap between Trump and the Bernie Bros. Trade policy for instance - both sides were critical of TTP, NAFTA, talked up how the American worked has been getting screwed, both have been intensely critical of China, and both are generally viewed as protectionist. So don't be surprised if Bernie Bros prefer Trump over Pence.

I wouldn't hold his opinion any higher than anyone else's. I've seen a few clips of their show on youtube (theyoungturks) and while I agree with their general stance on the current White House this Cenk guy is often a bit over the top, especially when it comes to Trump. I don't mind when people point out the stupidity, incompetence and childish nature of Trump but when it's a 3min rant every time you speak then it gets a bit old imo.
 
Problem with Cenk is how every segment he employs childish insults and bizarre moments of outbursts. I'm annoyed with how he carries himself, far too emotional for my liking (though I would have loved to see him beat the ass of Jones, Stone and the other clowns on that media day a while back). The other panelists come off as more professional and less nutty.

yeh but i guess the way that trump is going about NAFTA and TTP is counter intuitive. I dont see why Pence wouldnt be critical about china but i dont think he would have went into a Trade war with them which benefits no one. I agreed with alot of the problems trump highlighted I just think how he goes about fixing them is close to insane. It would have been better he did feck all. So I am still surprised the Bernie Bros would prefer the epitome of billionaire capitalist pig over Dull Boring Conservative Mike Pense.

Pence would be everything we fear Trump could do if he wasn't so monumentally stupid.

Trump has accomplished a lot of bad things already. Imagine what someone with the same ideas could do if they were actually competent at doing their job.

That's why Trump is better than Pence.
 
I think Trump is a joke, but mostly harmless. Pence is a lunatic, who given the position of power the GOP is in, could do what would amount to, irreparable damage for the next few generations of Americans.
 
If Trump is guilty (which he is) I don't see how Mother can escape too. He must have known and been complicit in much of the shady shit. Surely he can't use the "I know nuffink" excuse?

He's done a pretty good job of sterilizing himself (leaving the room in certain instances etc) to where he could plausibly get by imo. If he ever became President, he would instantly become a lame duck as the scrutiny and pressure on him would be nearly as intolerable as its been on Trump. At least we would be spared the daily diarhea of word salad nonsense on Twitter, the idiotic tarrifs, and random handbags with foreign leaders.

Just read that he is being investigated for his ties to Manafort and Russian businessmen. Seems he could be fecked too. (It was the DC Enquirer) but I recall them getting a big scoop last year too so I won't totally discount it as bs or speculation. (Fingers crossed)
