Is something going on with a judge there ?
He had made a passing remark during closing arguments in which the Conservatives latched on to.
Something along the lines of "you don't care about Manafort and all you want is trump"
Im paraphrasing but it was quite an extraordinary remark by a judge.

Ahh yeah that was like six weeks ago. Nothing further from that judge, who was criticized for his comments iirc.

I seem to remember reading something about him quite often being very harsh on the side he eventually intends to favor.

Headline doesn't really reflect what he actually said. He was joking that you could prime him with Wine and he'd spill secrets and then, pretty stupidly, revealed that there is a lot of really juicy stuff yet to come.
After he deleted everything probably. But they have software that can still see what was deleted. Then again, this is the kind of business Prince is in so he should know what he's doing.
They likely have intercepted communications already and will know immediately if Prince wiped his info. If he then lies about it they will nail him.

There will be nothing substantial until Mueller issues his final report, which given Trump's delay tactics over his own interview, may not be until early next year.

Yes it would seem so. He's running out of options and may be waiting for a pardon, which of course may not necessarily bail him out if state level charges are in the mix.
So when is the slug going on trial?

I don't know if Trump campaign collided with Russia. However, I'm absolutely convinced, without a shadow of a doubt, this guy has bbee laundering money for the Russians.
Agreed. The financial crimes (money laundering) case Mueller is building will be a big part of the final report imo.
So far I see obstruction of justice and financial crimes as being the meat of the report. There may have been some loose quid pro quo type cooperation through proxies (collusion) but I doubt it will directly implicate Trump as much as those around him.
The cover-up is often worse than the crime.
