Trump/Russia/SDNY investigation

Fox are going to have to fire him if he didn't disclose to them that Cohen was his attorney while he was doing all those shows defending the guy.

Thinking that Hannity is in possible breach of his employment contract not to mention potential legal jeopardy is just delightful.

I guess he’s happy to forfeit the right to attorney-client privilege then...

So Cohen claimed Hannity as a client but Hannity is saying absolutely not! Hannity throwing Cohen under the bus. These cnuts can't get their stories straight!

All those exclusives Hannity got that Trump told his twitter followers to watch...

Seriously though, if this was a movie how long ago would you have switched off?

I’m trying to figure out one of two things...

  1. If this wouldn’t be funny in a movie because it was too ridiculous and unbelievable, can it still be funny in real life?
  2. If in the future I think “this movie is too ridiculous and unbelievable to enjoy it”, should I move the goal posts a bit and judge it against this?

Hardly knew the guy.

It’s a weird one because it hurts Trump’s case. They’re claiming A-C privilege and Cohen wants as many clients as possible to back up that claim.

Hannity is having none of it though so he’s either hiding something serious or it shows what a pussy he is, unwilling to make the sort of sacrifice he’d demand from people who owe him nothing.

"Client Number 3. What's your name and where do you come from?"

One thing that doesn't make sense is why would Cohen claim Hannity was a client if what Hannity says is correct? If there was no A/C relationship recognized by law then it was stupid to try and claim it existed in that court hearing.

Of course it is all explained by saying Cohen is a dumbass. I wonder if the judge will call in Hannity and the other guy to state under oath whether they are clients or not.

Going through twitter I see a lot of desperate attempts to discredit Judge Wood and make it seem like she has conflicts of interest. How very fecking typical.

Was basically wondering something along those lines in the House of Cards thread last year (also before Spacey was outed in the #metoo). Felt the series sucked after season one because they were simply just too unrealistic. In a Trump era context though, I wasn't quite sure what to make of that assessment...

Cohen is desperate- means the raid struck gold. It’s Hannitys career versus- what?

Even Trump's favourite TV lawyer Andrew Napolitano says Trump is in trouble.

I’m wondering if it is in the terms of Hannitys contract. One of those “this didn’t happen, you don’t know me, you don’t know my client, my client doesn’t know me, none of this exists” sort of deals.

By Cohen naming Hannity, Hannity is now terrified the NDA will become common knowledge like the others have.

Imagine the absolute worst for him... something like him demanding a mistress had an abortion, it would end his career.

The key question is what did Fox know?

I'm not sure they have to.
Hannity is an entertainment host. He has no legal responsibilities.
The news hurts his credibility but I'm not sure it's a sackable offence.

Hannity knows that the DOJ have all the records so I don't think he's stupid enough to lie about never having had any Cohen help with a third-party matter. I think Cohen is just desperate and proper fecked and so threw out Hannity's name.

If he becomes toxic (ha) because of this then they drop him by using the standard disrepute clause that will be in his contract. Doing anything to make the network look bad...that sort of thing.

That makes perfect sense BUT that would mean Cohen and his lawyers lied to a federal judge so have committed perjury. That doesn't make much sense either does it?

To be fair, nothing about this lot makes any sense anyway. It's insane. They are all throwing each other under the bus now. Eating their own and turned on themselves.

This is amazing.

The chuckle after she says his name.

Was thinking the same.

While true, as part of A-C privilege, wouldn’t Hannity have the right to anonymity? They could confirm he’s a client, he could deny it all he likes publicly and the court might have to acknowledge it privately while making no statement on it publicly.
