Trump/Russia/SDNY investigation

Trump talking now. He sounds pissed.....almost like an Alec Baldwin impersonation of him.
it was amazing. Like he was trying to do his best parody of himself. It had all the talking points. From tax cuts to but hillary to Jeff sessions:lol:

So how does he get rid of Mueller again (pretty obvious it's coming soon)?

He would have to fire Rosenstein and replace him with an agreeable replacement who would then fire Mueller. Only problem is that Congress would then impeach him as there would be broad support to impeach due to an obstruction of justice. They could also vote to re-install Mueller by passing the independent council statute law that expired in 1999, where the Independent Council cannot by touched by anyone. So all things said, its more risky for Trump to proceed than just sit and wait. He will however almost certainly clobber Assad since that will take the Mueller story out of the news.

"It's an attack on our country."

Which one?

Is Hannity on today? Be he starts by wiping a tear from his eye, "Democracy died today."

"The Attorney General made a terrible mistake when he did this and when he recused himself, or he should have certainly let us know if he was going to recuse himself and we would have used a ... put a different Attorney General in, so he made what I consider to be a terrible mistake for the country, but you'll figure that out..."

@Raoul - why does it mean that Trump can’t pardon Cohen?

I initially thought it was a state level inquiry, but its a federal level so technically he could but then again you are not supposed to pardon someone in order to obstruct justice. You normally wait until they are done with a legal process and then consider them for a pardon.

Trump's hair has deflated, by the look of it.

Didn't Hillary get slated for taking a huge speaking fee from Goldman Sachs?

She did it about 2 weeks before officially declaring herself a candidate. (though leaked emails show that she had already put her team in place a year before that).

For all the talk of Trump firing Mueller, you'd think he'd have done it by now if he felt he was able to have him gone and survive. I'm wondering if people close to Trump have told him it's too risky a move depending on what Mueller already has and that he's better holding tight and hoping for a pardon if it undoes his Presidency.

If he did get done and then got a pardon, he'd 100% say it proved his innocence.
