I wonder if it's: agree to house arrest or $10m bail. Paying bail at $10m AND being under house arrest would seem excessive, I agree.

More coherent hurdle is proving that any funds put up for bail are not proceeds of crime.

They are flight risks. And apparently Manafort is worth as much as 100m so I think he'll be ok.
 
Mueller also investigating a top Democratic lobbyist Tony Podesta.



"The indictment, unsealed Monday, refers to "Company A" and "Company B" as the firms Manafort and Gates solicited in 2012 to lobby on behalf of the Ukranian government. Company A is Mercury Public Affairs and Company B is the Podesta Group, the sources said."

Only if there is enough evidence to indicate he was guilty of a crime and is facing impeachment himself.

I played this song for a Greek colleague I was working with last summer. She recognised it as a very old tune, but I reckon it meant more to me than it did to her as the end of probably my favourite season :D

Also, there are more names in the Papadopoulos indictment that haven't been revealed yet. Could Trump jr be one? :drool:

Awesome song. Definitely one to throw a few dangerous shapes to! One thing that got me about that season was when they found the guy who killed the girls and asked him where he was from, it appeared that he was supposed to be Turkish because of his tattoo. Don't think he spoke any Turkish and I don't know any Turks who have the star and the crescent tattooed onto their bodies.

They can't enter another country without a passport. Plus they will be on surveillance throughout the trial. Highly doubtful they could pull that off. Would be James Bondy.

The one major unknown is soft rich people getting threatened with prison time and how they might react. Looking at you, Eric. Flipping the right person, like we learned of today, could push the investigation on leaps and bounds.

There's also the fact that so much of the circle are so dumb. Don Jr is probably dying to self-incriminate himself right now.

Papadopoulos was referred to as a 'proactive cooperator' in the legal docs. He was arrested way back in July and his name wasn't publicly revealed til today (late Oct). Therefore the suggestion is he was likely wearing a wire during the intervening time.
