If the Trump campaign is implicated or is close to being implicated and IF Trump resigns, would there be a case for Pence to quit too? (because he's VP as a result of the very campaign being implicated)

If he's actually implicated in any way then he'd probably have to go too, which would mean Ryan taking over. If not though Pence will step in. Doesn't seem like he's being heavily implicated in any of this though so he might get off fine.

Difficult to tell with Pence right enough - he seems to have been very, very silent so far during his time as VP. Could be a very deliberate tactic to keep any heat off him. It was always difficult to tell how closely involved he was with Trump during the main campaign.
 
Atmosphere in Trump's main circles must be dire right now. Already there have probably been plenty who didn't get along; now they'll be suspicious of who's going to turn on who, what Mueller has, what he's looking for etc. Could end up triggering a bit of a domino effect so to speak.

Can Trump technically fire Mueller? If he can, what happens after that? Everybody has had enough and they impeach him, or the political standoff ramps up several magnitudes?

He would have to fire Rosenstein and his back up (Rachel Brand) and then emplace a lackey who is willing to do it. Rosenstein and Brand would almost surely resign rather than do it. Furthermore, it would implode his entire Presidency as it would basically show that he's guilty and is desperate to conceal something from getting out at all costs.

No plea bargains, he'll face the full might of the consequences and you can bet the charges aren't finished yet. Popadopoulous will drop him in it even further before its over.

To me firing Comey signaled exactly that. The thing with him is, he just doubles down like a little brat.

Probably a fair bit off bringing down Trump's admin at the moment but you'd imagine they're on track to doing so. Can see it taking a long time with lots of twists and turns before they get to that point though.
