Sell Dembele for monkey money and replace him for basically free. Amazing. This lad will do well at Dortmund
I think he´ll need some time for his game to mature. I think he´ll get a few spot minutes here and there, but nowhere the impact or minutes Pulisic got/gets.

Arsenal are a joke, would rather spend £90 million on Lemar than £45 million on Mahrez and still be able to spend the other half on a decent defence.

Why wait till the last day of the window to actually improve your squad.

Mid table teams like Swansea, Stoke and West Brom have done better deals than Wenger.

Alexis Sanchez is staying at Arsenal. That is the message from the club and it would now be a shock if there were to be any late turns to this infernal saga (it takes a toll, you know!). Manchester City came in earlier today with a second offer for the Chile striker – of £55m, plus £5m in add-ons – but it has come down to Arsenal being able to sign a new attacking player. Quite simply, they look to have run out of time on that front. They wanted Monaco’s Thomas Lemar and the French club demanded that they pay 100m euros for him. Which Arsenal indicated they were willing to do. But there appears to be insufficient time for Arsenal to now agree a package with Lemar, particularly as he is in the France squad for this evening’s game against Holland – which kicks off in about three hours. Were Arsenal able to get Lemar, they would have been inclined to take the £60m from City for Sanchez. But it is unlikely to happen now.

Best transfer deadline day in a long time and still a while to go. Shame we aren't in on the action but it could still all end in tears for the English clubs in amongst it all.

Wouldn't surprised me if Arsenal bent over for City despite not getting Lemar. Or could be just using Lemar transfer as a way to get more money. Hard to see them letting 70-80m go.

Most up and coming players will choose Liverpool over Arsenal as things stand. They can offer CL football and don't have Wenger as manager.

Strange move for Mahrez tbh. Won't he be a squad player at Chelsea in presence of the likes of Hazard and Pedro ?

Both are basically dead end clubs as things stand but at least Arsenal sell at fairer prices if you end up being good and want to sign for a really top club. Arsenal at least win trophies and have a consistency of qualifying for champions league. Wenger and Klopp will both be gone in two years.

Yeah I agree. Liverpool's issue is they never consistently qualify for the CL whereas Arsenal have. But that seems to be changing.
