It's frustrating that we're not in for Sanchez. We should be going for a player of his calibre.
We may have been.
Maybe he doesn't want to come to United.

We should offer them Lukaku for Sanchez, then send Stormzy down to do the medical and sign the paperwork.
Arsenal will do just fine this year imo (despite their poor start). They may not win the league, but City aren't guaranteed to win it either. I also think Sterling would link up well with Lacazette.

Yep. Sterling also has a lot of upside and City have a lot of money so it wouldn't at all surprise me if it happened as Pep is under immense pressure to start delivering some silverware.
I don't think they'll finish top 4 or win Europa.
Surely we'd have heard murmurs. There has been nothing.
May be because we have 2 left wingers at the moment. May be we wont match the salary because of next summer's targets.
Well no that isn't the case at all. It's been clear for months he has no future at Everton and Chelsea would be an amazing opportunity for him and he's every chance of progressing under Conte who would instill tactical knowledge that so far he hasn't been taught.
Pressure is getting to the baldy, trying to cover up his shortcomings by stocking with every world class player possible.
Yeah that's also possible but at the same time as Fergie used to say if a world class player becomes available - you got try and get him.
As for salary levels, we've let go of Rooney, BFS, Depay, and few others.

We have also got the likes of mkh lukaku lindelof matic to our squad plus ibrahimovic. If we want griezmann surely we will pay him big bucks too.
Impossible to predict at this point. You can't really look at the first few fixtures and extrapolate a final league position. Otherwise our first three last year would've been a clear sign that we'd finish top 4.
Even if they get Sanchez - City will still have shoddy defence and the likelihood is - Kompany will get injured again at some point. It doesn't really change anything for them. Attacking hasn't really been their problem after all.
He's going to have some disgruntled players who need to play consistently leading up to the WC. If I were Spurs, I would inquire about Sane or Sterling.
Great plan. Lets see if it will work in the PL.Pep's Plan is to dump 2-3 goals with his posession and kill the game in 60 mins only, so they score 4-5 in games.

You forgot to write 'meanwhile in a parallel universe'Lukaku
Martial Griezmann Sanchez
In all honesty I predicted it before the season began. Despite what people say the Thursday Europa league games are incredibly taxing and Arsenal have always struggled after Wed/tues games. They are either going to sell their best player or keep him there unhappy, they seem to be selling their defence and Wenger thinks he has better players than he has. (Ozil, Xhaka)
Sorry, derailing the thread here but yeah I think they'll have a very tough season.
If City get Sanchez, then we might as well all pack it in. Aguero, Jesus, De Bruyne, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Sanchez, Sane and maybe Sterling. That is plain ridiculous

So what is the reality? There'll be players on the pitch to change games and players in abundance to come off the bench to influence games if need be. That's how I see it.I cannot stand posts like this I'm sorry. The reality is never ever this way, so why do people continue to believe it?
Unlike lets say last year.So what is the reality? There'll be players on the pitch to change games and players in abundance to come off the bench to influence games if need be. That's how I see it.

Sanchez is better than any attacker City have right now bar Aguero maybe. He'll change everything for them.Unlike lets say last year.
Ok. Lets pack it in then.Sanchez is better than any attacker City have right now bar Aguero maybe. He'll change everything for them.
The pack it in was an obvious hyperbole. The fact of the matter is, attack is best form of defense. They don't need to have a good defense with an attack like that."We may as well all pack it in." That is an absolutely pathetic statement and this fear everyone has of City and other clubs who front load their squad is ridiculous. The fact is City cannot defend properly and will concede goals, doesn't matter who they have up front. The Premier League is never a walk in the park no matter what players you have.
I hope so. I think that's a shit plan in my opinion to be honest. Yeah, when you've got peak Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Alves, Busquets that may work 80% of the time but city don't have one player of that quality. I mean Aguero is up there but he's the only one in my opinion.
Also at Barca he had a decent defence. At City, apart from Kompany it's still so vulnerable.
