Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Screw the first game of the champs league offer them Smalling and 70m and get him here.

We're told unrelated to Coutinho but how is he going to fit in to the team otherwise, and where are Liverpool getting this money from?

To be honest I think even if Coutinho leaves, if you get Keita & Lemar in with that money you've done brilliantly, two players who are going to be superb in a year or two's time.

We spent nothing last year. And Keita will go on next year's books.

Would be mental tho. I am sure well fit him in somehow.

Willian isn't any good?

Do you watch football? He's been sensational.

Yeah I watch football regularly. Thanks for asking.

You probably didn't read the post very well, though. Go and read it again. If you think he has been sensational for the last 2 years then maybe you're the one who lacks watching football regularly.

Willian is a complete different case than Matic.

In my opinion Willian was the one good player during the Chelsea debacle and he is always used in a way that makes him look like a worse player than he is. I like him.

By Mourinho, he was used as a "balancing" wide player with a lot of covering responsibilities.

Willian is an out and out winger who keeps bugging the flank to provide width, with good defensive abilities and good crossing, while being good as well at set pieces as a bonus. During last title winning season for Mourinho, he was one of the best tactical players in the team and was an example on how out and out winger should operate. Now, whenever I see him I hardly see the same Willian of the past 2 years tbh. He used to be a very good player but now I would have taken Perisic on him any day. Both are of the same age but Perisic is still on form and producing, Willian not anymore.

I'm seriously afraid that if we do not at least try to go for Sanchez before the transfer window closes, he will definitely not sign a contract with Arsenal and probably sign a precontract with City in January and move on for free next summer.

Looks like City are the only ones actively pushing for him and the Pep connection does help them.

Come on Ed, get cracking and make the move.

Arsenal are mental if they sell City Sanchez. Plenty of average players have left for them and won the league. But to bend over and sell your best player by far is a total bitch move.

Either keep him and enjoy a year of his peak or sell him abroad. Be like us selling De Gea to Chelsea.

They were also wanted at their clubs which, Liverpools stance over Coutinho shows, you can ask for more than their worth.

Then again...

Gotta factor in the home grown markup. It would be foolish for Liverpool to not ship him out for 20-25mil.

EDIT: Plus neither of the above were outcasts to their own teams. It's not like none of them were lacking PT at their clubs (maybe not Wimmer), while Sakho is persona non grata in Liverpool.
