Messi is not gonna leave. He's playing games with the board to push for new, stronger signings.

You don't leave Barcelona for Manchester City. Such a thing does not happen.
True. Unless you fancy coming over to be one of the best midfielders in the PL for a few years. I agree on Messi though, I don't see him leaving.

Yes, that's clearly what I was getting at - not the sulky attitude, poor performances, the push to leave the first time the opportunity presented itself, and the interviews and quotes after he joined PSG about how he'd rather forget his time with us. Didn't he say he was joining us with reluctance before he even kicked a ball in anger?

He couldn't get above Ashley Young in the pecking order for gods sake, that tells you everything you need to know about his application.
To be fair, I don't think he ever kicked a ball in anger.

I remember when he was touted as the next big thing when he was absolutely killing it at Marseille. Shame to see how his career has panned out. He's won a few trophies but he never lived up to the hype, very few players do, to be fair.

i remember when nasri was at marseille and was hyped as a future star for france, went to arsenal and became an important player for them then switched to city and it all went to shit. never really fulfilled early promise

#MUFC + #THFC both chasing Ryan Sessegnon according to Sky. United would consider loaning him back to Fulham who will only accept big offer

Wouldn't be a terrible ideal. He's supposed to be very talented.

Fergie almost had Nasri in the bag when he was an Arsenal player, no? His agent then demanded too much and Fergie called off the deal

So the story goes. I remember something that he agreed terms with us then City but then came back to us and we told him feck off at that point.

Best of both worlds for Fulham as well, they have to know he wont stay forever so this way they get a good fee plus a season long loan at least.

I would love it if we nabbed Sessegnon ahead of Spurs. He's one of those players that you just know is gonna make it. He's not going to be cheap though, probably looking at Rooney/Shaw type money to get him in but he looks potentially world class.
