Perisic chose to stay at Inter

I hope Mitchell gets some chance this season at LB until gets back to his best and our FBs attack from both side & provide width with our wide players having more freedom in the final third.

I'd rather not see potentially brilliant players end up at Liverpool.
Not all players turn into Zidane mate. I remember people losing their heads when Pool signed Nuri Sahin because he looked good in another league. That ended well.

Remember, the Premier League is a difficult league to adapt to for some players.

Not bothered one bit. Would be nice to see one more signing though, maybe a left back.

I'd rather us sign a LB than a LW. Jose probably wanted him for his pace and defensive qualities. So no Perisic probably means he'll change his needs to a LB. or not.

Of course not, he choose to stay at inter to play no european football and to not play in one of the best leagues in the world, to be paid less than what he would have got here and to let the only chance of his carrer to play for a european giant and one of the best manager in the world and with some of the best players go away.... it has nothing to do with the fact that we lost interest because we wouldn't pay what inter wanted for him, namely, 48M£ or martial on loan. \s
Bolded part is not true. He's going to earn a lot at inter. And as for the second part, United are ultra-rich(doesn't matter since inter are offering more) and have more fans than anyone else. That's their claim to being a european giant right now...

Strange logic that

Interesting that one of the supposed 'trouble makers' from Mourinho's final Chelsea season is still close with him.

I guess that means all the drama mainly boils down to Hazard then?

Interesting how Jose is often depicted by some sections of the press as a disruptive character for dressing rooms (usually from the third season according to them) yet, player after player say nothing but good things about him. Even the players that he had professional issues with. Time usually proves he doesn't seem to take things personal. Mata, Lukaku, Costa etc. He was even happy to have Ronaldo back at United if possible according to reports. His make up with Pap Guardiola and Raneiri are also notable.

I think he is one of those people whose external demeanours don't match their actual personalities.

:( Sir William. Although he hasn't evolved as i expected, he will still be missed. I think it's a good move by him. If he can return to the level he displayed under Leonardo Jardim's guidance, i think he can reach one of the top clubs in England. I like him but you can't reject offers like that.

Don't understand all that hype about carvalho. Sure he is good in defence but his passing and ball control is just awful for football player. Call me old fashion but i think that midfielder , any midfielder defensive, central or attacking, must have some level of football skills.

Well we signed Schneiderlin who is like quite what you describe there, or even Fellaini

I've not seen an awful lot of him, but I got the opposite impression. He impressed me on the ball, but not really off it.

Inter offering him €5m a yr according to GDS. Think we'd offer him more than that.
