Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Draxler a healthy scratch again for PSG. Guess it´s pretty clear, who they are trying to sell.

I don't understand this negativity toward Perisic, I've watched him a few times. A part of my family are big AC Milan fans and we all agree he is an absolute monster of a player & exactly what we need, I have no doubt that if he does move to United he will be a big hit and he will absolutely terrorize PL defenders and supply Lukaku with the service he needs from the flanks. He's even ideal for a player like Darmian who is sound defensively but offers little going forward. I really hope he finally makes the move to Old Trafford as i believe he is the final piece of the jigsaw. I would take him over Mahrez and Moura any day of the week.

Yes, good post.

Also, I actually want Perisic and another winger, like Lucas.

Or someone younger to develop, who could potentially take a step immediately.

One player I hope we're watching is Malcom at Bordeaux. Did a good job last season, in what was his first full Ligue 1 campaign.

He's a left footed right winger who just turned only 20 in February.

It isn't stupid to suggest that the majority of people who criticise him here have barely seen him play.

It is not stupid. It's certainly presumptuous. But it's also nice of you to think so highly of these posters. Because, if their criticism is in fact following having watched Perisic play in recent seasons then that's quite an indictment of their football nous.

In hopes of fueling the fire more, I can't wrap my head around how there's so much praise and drooling over Icardi, yet such a negative view of a player in the same team that's been crucial to the striker's success. I can only assume it's because for some, YouTube highlights alone equates to "I've watched him play". And I'm ok with someone that admits it and accepts their opinion misses a lot of the finer details.

So mismanaged by Conte he just couldn't wait to get the knives out at the end of last season, he looks like Captain Haddock from Tin Tin btw.

My god, man...you're right!!!

As I already said, the majority of people on the Cafe reside in the UK. Inter aren't shown on a regular basis here. Neither are Croatia.

I suppose Man Utd fans could be streaming every Inter match for some reason, but it doesn't seem likely.

The transfer window needs to change. Window should close for buying clubs when the domestic season starts. Open on last day of season. Do away with winter window.

Aye, I was pretty much agreeing with you fwiw. And that's an important point - I'm in the US and it's a similar situation. Premier League is broadcast a lot now thru NBC. Fox Sports does some Bundesliga and Seria A but it's not to the level of NBC. And Bein covers La Liga.

Now the thing is, this also bumps your cable fee up $20-30 a month. I suppose that's better than back in the 90s when I first moved to the US and watched only a ton of Seria A on RAI using my good ol' antenna.

I think people who are the most enthusiastic about signing have not watched him a ton.

All the league's in Europe do not run on the same schedule.
That's why you close it for buying club. Clubs can still sell regardless of window so other leagues such as MLS can buy in their window or sell during European windows.

What is this

All the players have a weekend off to go where they want. He's there with his girlfriend I believe.

It's not even him, the guy in the photo has his whole arm covered in tattoos, Sanchez doesn't as far as I know.

From what I've read in here and in the Perisic thread, it seems like it's quite the opposite. Posters who claim to watch him often all agree that he'd improve the team, whereas people who haven't watched him much (me included) don't rate him.

Like Beckham, Van Nistel Roy, Heinze.

When was Juve last sold to Madrid?

We're talking about players that we did not want to sell. All those you mentioned SAF wanted to get rid of. It's common knowledge. Also if you don't think a United Fan did not know that we have sold players like that in the past then you need to consider a different hobby.

I absolutely love the meltdown on here, over PSG's spending. :D
It's like seeing the rich kid pissed off, because his mom told him that she can't afford the most expensive toy, which the other rich kid is getting.
Suck it up guys. Accept that there is a new player in town. I know it hurts, but that's life.
Don't wum.
