Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

It's not about football. The owners/Levy still make a shit ton of money that could instead go to the players. Hell, they're literally building a brand new stadium. It's not what you think it is. Fact is Tottenham has built a very good squad due to Levy's ability to keep players and bring in good ones. Eventually these players will want more money as the club grows (as it has, and they deserve it). They can either try to replace the players or pay them what they're worth.

Harry Kane has earned the right to make more based on his performances. It's out there for all to see, the wages, his talent, his goal return, etc. compared to Lukaku, Aguero, Sanchez, Costa, Hazard, etc. He's not getting adequate ROP (return on performance) on wages or team trophies. Same could be said for Eriksen and Alli....but let's see what happens again this year with City, United and Arsenal upgrading their squads.

Levy's a hardass business man and has overlooked one of the more exciting periods of Spurs football, fair play, well done...but I can't say they've been successful because Spurs have won sweet feck all the past 2, 3 years with their talented squad.

And it's painfully obvious Spurs need to splash the cash on retaining their players and finding THE player(s) to get them to the top. Difference between 1st and 2nd or 3rd in this league is so fine. Are Spurs willing to go the distance? Are Spurs contenders or winners?
Good responses. I'll reconsider my stance after hearing this

And ParisUnited are a bunch of trolls. There was no court case on the 7th like they said.

They are saying we have agreed terms. Is anybody else saying it without quoting them? Seems to be more linking them to the plastics and not us

They've been very good on PSG news in this transfer window. RMC Journos have been retweeting them, which gives them some credibility. I would reserve judgment on them until the window closes.

Why would he move to Chelsea when he wants to play up "north"? Tottenham wouldn't sanction it.

Ara chelsea? Sure aren't they signing Zlatan Drinkwater Sandro Neymar Walker Hernandes Aurier Lukaku Fabinho Barkley Mbappe Bonucci Bale Kane Ronaldo Aili CBJ and TFM(loan both). Dont think their is a player on the move thats not linked with them.

The london mafia media strikes again! Because clearly Chelsea are relocating to Saltire

My guess: Rose, Cancelo, Drinkwater, Llorente?

Why would he want so many new players? He has a Premiership winning team which (in my capacity as a supporter alone), he only needs to enhance but it looks as he wants to make wide-spread changes, maybe.

Dortmund are punishing Barca because they know they'll struggle to bring in an adequete replacement to the German League. I'd test the waters with an £80m + Mkhitaryan bid.

It makes me think that United have behaved intelligently in this transfer window.

Let's not forget they have Champions League this season - they definitely need more players especially for the two wingback roles

Or listening to people speculating on their way to work in the metro.
That explains why the London Underground is always such a heaving, sweaty cattle market. It's full of SS reporters waiting for 'breaking news'.

S.Aurier and MU have found an agreement around a 5-year contract. Rest to negotiate with Paris and have a work permit

Surprised no one seems to have a clue about his courtcase/work-permit.

Don't know why he keeps denying it

Some MUFC fans will read this as, "Bale issues come and get me plea to Manchester United!"
And their conclusion: Bale will be joining us this Summer.

Unfortunately some fans also believe that Griezmann will be joining us in the next few months.
Some also believe absolutely, that Ronaldo will at some point be joining us.
And lets not forget Gaitan, Nainggolan and several others.

So theres two camps when it comes to Aurier. The French ITKs and journos are saying Aurier/PSG negotiating with us whilst Di Marzio and his puppy Amoyal are saying his agent is meeting with Inter complete with photo of said meeting.

Hard to know what to believe! clearly we're being used to make Inter act and pay up.
