Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Danny Rose would be a perfect signing at the minute. Desperate for someone like him at left back.

no offense but who gives a shite about his 'opinion'? Hardly warrants a post in here.
He is someone who has been invited to dinner with Manchester United CEO Ed Woodward on occassions and his opinion matters. Chilling with Woody makes his opinion matter.

Those tweets are very much are just his opinion. Not inside knowledge or any links like his other tweets.
when his opinions become fact he will come in swooping with an "I told you weeks ago that United were going to blah blah blah look at me I'm itk"

 even if he did. who cares? If he was making a definitive statement that he was itk there he wouldn't have framed it as just his opinion
I swear some of ye get so hot and bothered about this stuff it's hilarious. Chill.

it's still his fecking opinion though, there's nothing solid in there at all.

Philip brown himself confirms he has no idea and is just giving his opinion which is fair enough. I don't see why we need to post that here though. You can be the most reputable transfer journo in the world but posting opinions about transfers makes no sense.

only person seems hot and bothered is you

Just like walker wouldn't have happened

Not the same at all, because with Walker we had Trippier as a ready-made replacement who represents very little drop in overall quality. But Davies, although decent, is a fair bit below the standards of Rose.

This is why all along I said that Walker might well be sold, especially since his partner wanted to move back up north.

But I also predicted that Dier wouldn't be - and he wasn't. I'm now predicting that Rose won't be - and he won't.

But believe otherwise if you wish ....

Don't get me wrong, £18.5m for a player who scored 9 goals last year, is in his last year of his contract and appears to be an absolute knobhead is good business, but are Burnely going to get anybody decent in with that money?

It's not inconceivable he could have hit double figures this year, which would be invaluable to a team who don't look like they have any goals in them. Sam Vokes, Jon Walters and Ashley Barnes are being relied on at present to score enough to keep Burnley up. :wenger:

Thought Burnley would have been relegated anyway but yeah this would pretty much confirm it. Pereyra, Deeney, and Gray could surprise people with the number of goals they score this season imo

Roberto Soldado, who's not known for his spelling ability, heading to Fenerbahce for 10 million euros.
