Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Based on absolutely nothing whatsoever.

Based on our match yesterday. Or our matches the past 4 seasons.
We've seen so many combinations on the left the last 4 seasons it's obvious we don't have what any of our last 3 managers want.

Roberto Soldado, who's not known for his spelling ability, heading to Fenerbahce for 10 million euros.

Never noticed how much he looks like Hank Azaria

According to Tuttosport, Monaco are after Schick. Anyone knows if that's a decent source?

In this case, it's not really his fault. He basically opines, we don't have to post his tweets when it's an opinion. It's not a breaking news if Di Marzio thinks United need a lb either.
The tweet I posted wasn't a opinion from what I understood. Others posted a follow up tweet which was his opinion.

Don't get me wrong, £18.5m for a player who scored 9 goals last year, is in his last year of his contract and appears to be an absolute knobhead is good business, but are Burnely going to get anybody decent in with that money?

It's not inconceivable he could have hit double figures this year, which would be invaluable to a team who don't look like they have any goals in them. Sam Vokes, Jon Walters and Ashley Barnes are being relied on at present to score enough to keep Burnley up. :wenger:

It's the same as selling a house in a rising market; OK you might make a huge paper profit but you still have to replace it, and replacements have risen equally as much.

Except we're talking about Burnley so you should probably be grateful anyone wants to buy your house in the first place.

People have the weirdest agenda against Phil Brown.

Agreed mate.

I'm sure people would be happier if all journalists were banned. It's all I ever see in here "ban this guy" "why isn't he banned?" Etc etc.

It's called transfer RUMOURS ffs!

The ridiculousness of some the rumours is what makes it all the more fun. People need to chill out.

A few things pointing to Inter getting ready for a possible Perisic departure despite the external posturing.

Dalbert is a left back who is good going forward. Looks like a further strengthening of the left wing where Perisic has thrived a lot for Inter.

News also broke yesterday that Inter are keen on getting Mahrez after it appeared as if Roma might no longer be interested in him.

It was. Hence the imo. However I don't think it's a big deal either way but it helps to not post opinions about transfers, as it invariably leads to posts whining about it.

This guy has absolutely no desire to play for Man Utd, never has shown any desire to play for Man Utd, yet we're continually linked with him and are often quite open about the fact that we're interested in signing him. Move on. It's like chasing an unreciprocated love at this point.

Ah, the bitter voice of experience.

I know, it's baffling how we're constantly linked to him. You could just tell by his body language last night, not the slightest bit interested in coming to us. A potentially bold prediction but I don't think he'll ever play for us.
