Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Going to PSG is actually the smartest move he can make if he wants to move. Stays in his home country for a few more years, then gets to move on to a bigger team, a better league in a few years time.

You think there is any chance PSG will let him leave? Good luck. It's a terrible move for a young ambitious player who maybe wants to play in Spain eventually, when have the Arab/Sugar Daddy clubs ever sold a player against their will?

As if they'd even risk it if there was any chance of that happening, lets be a bit realistic here.
PSG owner said even after UEFA fined them a few years ago he doesn't care about FFP he will continue there project in a difient manor.

It's simple if they dont stop it here now when it starting to get ridiculous, they never will and football as we know it will end up in ruins.

Transfer ban and CL expulsion, it has to be. Lets see Mbappe and Neymar enjoy playing in no European competition.

Never happen. If they can afford to plonk €400m on two players they can afford to bribe UEFA.

Manchester United- Ibrahimovic, working towards a return

Oh my gawd....Its Di Marzio so it must be true. :)

But seriously...great news. I never had any doubt he would be back once he's fit, which I'm guessing will be sooner than we think.

This. Watch them slap a £400 million price tag on his head.

If he signs for them he won't be leaving.

Well he can if he doesn't make the same stupid mistake Veratti made in signing a new 5 year contract a few months before he wanted to leave. If he plans to leave in 4 years then he should be open about it, sign a 5 year deal and tell them he won't be signing a 2nd one so they have to sell him before the end of that contract or lose him on a free when it ends.

Sorry, that's what I meant. He won't be leaving until his contract is nearly up is what i should have said.

Fair enough mate, i was more speaking in general. A lot of these footballers are thick as feck Van Dijk's another one signs a new deal just last year and then throws a hissy fit because he can't get the move he wants 12 months later.

I don't mind Zlatan as a 'Plan B' but I was getting used to us playing with pace up front now he and Rooney have gone.

"Dembelé on the doorstep. Barça met with Borussia to negociate the final price. The player deletes his team from the social media"
"Barça rule out Íñigo Martínez for the moment" "Offer for Seri the next week" "Munir has an agreement with Roma" "Arda closer to Galatasaray"

Ibra and Lukaku would be pretty devastating together. Goals galore.
On paper it's an ideal partnership I agree. Zlatan up top on his own doesn't excite me although I am pretty sure Jose knows how to fit them both in.

What if PSG becomes a genuine contender in Europe? To be honest, they are getting stronger and stronger and with Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani flanked by their good wide men with Verratti anchoring the midfield, Alves joining their defence and a very decent bench, they will be looking very strong this season.

It's possible but people have been saying this for years and it's the same story every season, they bottle it every time. Last season was an absolute joke for example. I don't believe their league is strong enough to properly prepare them for CL glory, you need to be tested so you're at your sharpest. The reason the Spanish clubs dominate is because although the league isn't as strong top to bottom as the PL, all the teams are superb technically and are set up well tactically that Barca, Real, A. Madrid etc are more prepared for the CL challenge.
