The window is so boring no one is even making up Tweets for us to post. Damn.
Thought there was 2 pages of new Tweets when I logged on.
But it's just pages of pointless discussion.
We will have to overpay in this market.Still think we vastly overpaid for him, but yes it was better than 100m.
We have left things too late for a while now. Given players renewals until they can barely run, instead of actually doing some scouting for a younger version. The Perisic signing. I don't have a problem with the money as such. It sounded like we were pretty close. Then they have supposedly asked for Martial to come into the equation. Now they are taking the micky. We will have to overpay in this market.
I think 35 mil for Perisic is too much, but that would be understandable.
But Inter arent even close to that. We paid 26 mil for Micky last year and he is a far superior player(Even contract situation considered)
Our biggest problem has been only going to the market when we are desperate instead of signing before it gets to that. Then clubs know we have no option but to pay. For example, I think we should have been signing a Valencia replacement this Summer and not the Summer he retires. Things like that to a long way in solving our problem.
Only if he met without the club's permission.Isn't that called tapping up?

Simeone could extend his contract
Monaco would be crazy not to sell.
Why? If he repeats his form feom this season does his price not hold?Monaco would be crazy not to sell.
He signed a new contract a week or so ago. He'd still get plenty of games.Spurs looking to fill in for their loss of Walker, what happens to Trippier
Only if he agrees to extend since he only has two years of contract left. Why? If he repeats his form feom this season does his price not hold?

I think it is more likely Spurs stick with Trippier and promote Kyle Walker-Peters rather than signing Aurier.
Where is this?Interesting to see Silva's transfer being quoted as 50+25m euros in very achievable addons. I thought that the 43m figure was too low.
Remy is leaving, and Llorente would probably give them a different/more direct option up front. Why are Chelsea even after Llorente? They have Bat man as a more than capable backup to Morata. They also have Remy who's probably better than Llorente.

I'm assuming he'll be third choice, behind Morata and Batshuayi. Win-win scenario for both sides, provided he's on low enough wages and happy with playing the odd game here and there.Llorente was not good enough as a backup for Juventus nor Sevilla, and is not good enough for Chelsea. Weird.
