Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

The half a billion will be including wages though so it's not too bad bite

This surely can't be happening? Why would he want to go and play in Ligue 1 unless it is the money he's after?

Like almost all south americans, if he wasn't after the money he would be playing in Brazil.

Castles was the one to first call PSG's interest in Fabinho and also their move for Alves. He's remarkably reliable for PSG.

A lot of South American players move to Europe for money in the first place.

Schick encounters bumps and cuts, doesn't glide very smoothly towards Juventus transfer. Player will not join Juve.

btw Castles, you twat, 220 + (5 x 30) does not = 500

You could probably add over £100 million in signing on fees, agent fees and Neymar's dads backhand fees as well which probably pushes it close to the £500 million mark.

It's bullshit though. No club would spend that much on one player,

Half a billion with wages included over 5 yrs
I know that and read it, but still, this is a player who could get his leg broken, just like any other and never come back the same. So, so happy Woodward didn't get involved in something like this - if it's true. That could cripple any "normal" club that isn't actually owned by an oil producing country in effect. Jesus, that is extraordinary, if true.

Football has gone to an entirely new level of insanity if that's true.

Wages are 60m per year?

£40-£50 million signing on fee for Neymar. £40-50 million agent fee. £40-£50 million consultancy fee for Neymars dad.

I've plucked those figures out of my arse, but I bet they wouldn't be that wide of the mark.

If Neymar leaves they can actually sort out their squad. As mad as it sounds, he won't be missed if they replace him well.
The money will be there but who can they realistically buy this summer to make up for his loss? PSG won't sell Verratti and Dembele doesn't seem to be going anywhere this summer.

I thought his dad was his agent? No?

All this Neymar talk is boring. Let's hope we hear something about Perisic tonight.

So Inter has not moved from their price, but it had been closer.....so United raised it's bid to get it closer, then lowered the bid?
Woodward accidentally hit the 9 instead of the 0 when texting the offer on WhatsApp.
