I mean come on buddy that's wrong on so many levels. Are you saying Fergie never paid any attention to youth? A massive misconception going on here. United offered Pogba a contract he chose to move on (rightly as it proved). But that season we got beat on GD in injury time to a team stronger than us. I'm not sure Pogba would have done as well as Scholes and Fergie has to balance winning titles with promoting youth.
I'm not sure Scholes was ultimately the issue though, Fergie played 2 players out of position in one game at CM ahead of Pogba. I think its fair to say Fergie made a couple of mistakes in tough circumstances.
If you're talking about the Blackburn game with one of the twins in midfield I can agree with you. But I'm not buying that made Pogba's mind up. Scholes was brilliant when he came back and at the time simply better than Paul. I'm not wanting dragged into this debate but saying Fergie never paid attention to potential cost us £90m just doesn't sit right with me.
According to last game's formation, no relation whatsoever between both players. I keep saying Rashford is the concurrent for Martial's positions.
