So, Allegri doing his former club a massive favour..

Maybe he will regret this, when Bonucci + Donna form a great defense challenging Juventus for the title.

Crazy nobody else picked him up. Even for 50m (if you say that exiting Italy is more expensive) instead of 35m I would have expected a lot of clubs would be willing to pay that!

It seems Mourinho wants to get rid of De Gea. Somebody knows what happened between them?!
It could be Ed / United / De gea's agent are just trying to flush out any approach now rather than later...Madrid papers read the stories from Uk - they Question Perez - he then has to respond one way or the other.

I think this could be a sensible option...no point finding out at last minute and having wads of extra cash but the window has closed. A final put up or shut up to Madrid and we can then plan our expenditure accordingly.

I'm sure he doesn't. Who would want to get rid of arguably the best goalkeeper in the world? De Gea might have indicated he wants to leave though.

I have to agree with you mate.

Have you noticed how De Gea has never (at least not as far back as I can recall) come out to pledge his allegiance to United or even his contract? You know those, "I love this club and I'm happy to be here" type of lines players use to reassure their clubs or kill rumours?

My bet is that he is desperate to leave. I see a player plus cash swap with Madrid. Bale, Kovacic or Kroos will be my guess.

Wow, what are Juventus doing? What's the reason for that?
Player wanted to leave. Him and Allegri can't stand each other, and apparently Bonucci has been a pretty bad influence in the dressing room for months. Rumors he attacked everyone at half time in Cardiff and even got physical with Dybala...

What has DiMarzio go to do with my post? You need to learn to read!
I'll answer for Stretch. You wrote that "Chelseas mouthpiece sky, speak again!" when replying to a tweet by Kaveh Solhekol from Sky stating was said by Di Marzio in Sky Sports Italy. So given that the original news was from Di Marzio, Stretch replied questioning whether Di Marzio is Chelsea's mouthpeice.

Juventus still have a much stronger team than Milan.

Yeah but this Bonnucci purchase takes Milan to a whole new level. Add the purchases of Silva, Rodriguez, Conti and Kessie. Not bad at all. I see Juve tiring out and Milan firing on furiously. About time the balance of power shifts in Serie A.

Not enough though, look at Juves attack compared to Milan. Light years apart in that respect that's a certainty.

MSN is probably the best attack in history, doesn't mean they'll win every time on the pitch - takes a team to build a champion. I think the fact that champions like Bonucci & Alves fell out with some in the squad for just that says quite a lot

I'm sure Real's choice would've been to include James in any swap deal, given how many times he's been touted with a move away and linked with us. But given that that isn't an option anymore, and that Kroos seems to be considered indispensable (or as indispensable as a player can be these days), along with Real coming out and saying Bale isn't going anywhere, I think it'll be a straight-up move for De Gea with nobody coming the other way.

Could all depend on the Perišić deal as well - if that falls through, and Mourinho thinks Bale could work in that position, then maybe we'll give it a try.

Why exactly are people surprised that a 30 year old Bonucci got sold only for 40 MP? I think its a good enough deal for Juve. Wrong side of 30 no matter how good he is.

all that may be so but its not who I quoted. Nor does it have anything to do with the content included.

chelsea do not want to sell to united and are hawking Matic round, and yet again its sky carrying the news. Be it BSkyB or Sky Italia.
Its a bit like the lack of acceptance on sky that the Lukaku to United was all but done from the moment the 75M fee was agreed.
As it got down to it, it was that, he really wants to play for chelsea and only his agent wants him to sign for United because its higher money.

Well someone should of told Lukaku because he said he knew it was United he was going to months ago. SO thats at least May.

Anything from sky is very tainted where one club is concerned. Not blaming sky btw, just saying chelsea are playing them.

It is surprising because English clubs would've payed almost double that amount. And Juve seemed like they had zero interest when those sums were being bandied about.

Why is Woody seemingly briefing that we're 'anticipating' bids for De Gea?

We must want to sell him.

Crazy - don't 'anticipate' an approach from those pricks - just ignore them.

It's the perfect smokescreen, I wonder who were signing next

Ha, that is taking it a bit far. No one would have paid even 50 MP, let alone double. Who was the last 30+ year old any English club paid that much for?

Considering the fact that there are few truly world class options available in his position I don't see why any of the English clubs would've minded bidding high for him.

Holy feck AC Milan is back and it's good to see. Really hope Juventuzzzzzz or whatever that forum is in meltdown mode

I have to agree with you

There's no way Real are gonna part ways with Kroos, even if it means getting DDG. In my eyes he's been one of their best performers for the last few years.

Bale or Kovacic more realistic.

People are reading way too much into the De Gea to Madrid stories in my opinion.

We've a press pack desperate to fill column inches and generate clicks, who we know keep tabs on their colleagues from other news outlets and simply regurgitate stories without worrying about corroboration of sources. We know all that, yet when 3 or 4 journo's run with a fairly routine story linking Real Madrid with a top player; a player who comes from Madrid and who last time I heard has a girlfriend in Madrid, then we assume that this is all due to the personal intervention of the Executive Vice Chairman of Manchester United. That seems to be about the most implausible explanation possible.

It's such an obvious story and one which runs every year, that I think it's far more likely that some journo somewhere has pulled the De Gea to Madrid story of the shelf and recycled it and everyone else has run with it too.

I don't really blame Sky Sports UK for that tbh. They very rarely get any exclusives anymore. The whole Lukaku only going to United because of his agent claim came from Matt Law of the Telegraph who clearly is on a pay roll with Chelsea and Sky just repeated it. Further, that Sky Sports presenter that you replied to virtually only tweets news of what he finds from other journos on twitter and doesn't source them. So, most think the news that he's tweeting is coming from Sky, but in fact it's not and more often than not it's from Di Marzio.

Unless the quotes are directly from Woodward or Mourinho why even believe the media?

Appalling scandal! Absolutely appalling. Tory bitch mouthing off about some lads kicking a ball around while his own mistress screws us in Europe. Appalling scandal, indeed. We should all know what matters most to English folk during this difficult period: Football.
