Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

I doubt it but you know what I mean, it's not like it's 2-5m it's fecking double.

If we buy a car it is the same price for everyone regardless if it's me or Bill Gates, why should footballers be any different.
because there is no master list with price tags on every player. Players are not cans of beans on a shelf or a car in a showroom.

Each player is an individual commodity and each transfer is a seperate deal.

Besides If I want to sell my car to the guy up the street for 5000 I can. If I won't take less than 10000 for the same car from the guy a town 50 miles away I have that right.

So which players have pl teams been quoted twice the price as another club in a different country?

We haven't been linked to many other right-backs apart from Aurier and Fabinho. If we do sign one this summer, it'll surely be one of those two.
Isn't Aurier a bit on the crazy side? Not seeing Mourinho wanting to put up with that now.

Every time I've seen him I've been impressed with him. Very aggressive attacking full back. But he clearly struggles with self-control on and off the pitch. Coupled with ACN eligibility I can't see Mourinho going with him.

The Keita deal is bound to happen after the latest movement! I think once it gets across the £65M, it will trigger the move

Surely FIFA or UEFA should look into these deals where English clubs can't buy players for the same price, in this market he should be easily £60m +.

Definitely seems fishy.

Similar case with Belotti: if he's sold to a Serie A club he could go for any price; outside of Serie A he has a release clause of €100 (allegedly). Surely it should be the other way round if anything to avoid strengthening rivals.

only one circumstance we would consider releasing DDG from his contract and that's Bale in return.
naaaa, for a sick note? I'd say DDG + 30M for CR7 and Kroos. Best keeper for the next 10 years for 2 years legend and a much needed gap filler in his prime.

Because English clubs are prepared to pay it.

I don't sell my car to my neighbour for less than I would to the guy from the posh town 30 miles down the road because I like him.

That's my exact point though, they are doing that( obviously not because they like them) but for whatever reason it's a price NO English club would be able to buy him at and I think that's wrong.

Yes you have the right but if everyone in the world knows it's only worth 5k and that is far below the sum you want from the other guy, just because he's loaded is ridiculous.

Definitely seems fishy.

Exactly my point, it's like they're happy to strengthen rivals and give them a half price deal, I just don't get it.

Also it's the complete opposite between English teams, they'd sooner sell for a lower price to another country than get loads of money from a rival, because they don't want to strengthen them.

Sorry that it's off topic guys.

If Spurs can get 50M for Walker then surely Swansea could get at least 70M for Sigurdsson!

This is wrong. It means if an Italian club bid €100 they could still turn it down. If a club outside Italy bid €100 they would have to accept

I don't understand these kind of loan with option to buy deal well. Let say the player impress & market price further inflated, the owning club should still have say in the player future? Chelsea kinda did with Salah didn't they?

I hope he is just passing through on his way to London.....

Epic trolling. He's obviously signing for Chelsea.

No fecking way. Which Manchester Team has Red and White Color Kit by the way ?

Is he any good by the way ?

Its Monacos colours... I don't particularly rate him but some do. TBH I haven't seen enough
