Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Matic seems the opposite of an Arsenal player, but I'd love Ox, tbh.

Perez must be thinking what the feck is going on?
There's no way they're blowing their Mbappe budget on David.
There must be a reason we leaked this bullshit. Diversion to stop them digging around so Spurs don't feel bullied over Dier?
What's interesting is that, I believe, Jackson of the Guardian has been consistently saying that Madrid are still interested in De Gea and United are wary of them making a move for him. Last summer I'd have said Jackson knew nothing, but he was spot on about the Lukaku link well before we signed him, while we were reportedly close to signing Morata.

Man Utd, and Jose need to hold firm on the DDG deal.
If he does leave, it needs to be a World Record transfer fee.
Anything less will not be entertained.

I would take the deal too, I think. Upgrade on Moses offensively for the RWB and a winger rotation option. He's a mess injury-wise, though.

That's like the least Arsene Wenger transfer you could possibly imagine.

I rate the chances of this happening at zero point zero percent.

The Oracle has not even mentioned us in the Matic and Arsenal link. We're probably are in for Dier then.

Meh, Bonucci gone, Real in for De Gea and Matic one of our midifeld targets Juve and Arsenal circling around. Think we need to hijack again. Get Sanchez and Fabinho ffs.

What would that achieve for us? Woodward/Mourinho impressed with Lukaku deal so they are clearly clever and in this case up to something.

Marketing reasons in the US when both are training together.:D Side by side.

After donnarumma signing new deal and atletico transfer banned no chance we'll sell for any price.

Like apparently moratta cutting his honeymoon short to tell real he wants United? They can get to feck.

I get all of that and agree. But given the story is breaking everywhere, it's obvious Madrid is briefing the press in an attempt to unsettle him.

Even if we stand our ground and point blank refuse any request from DDG or Madrid to consider a deal, he will be distracted by 'getting his head turned'.

If I were Woodward, I'd publicly reply saying there is only one circumstance we would consider releasing DDG from his contract and that's Bale in return.

Else STFU.

Ox can play wingback, winger, or in midfield so it makes sense for us. Not sure why Arsenal would want a slow, lumbering player like Matic in their team with their playing style.

Which is why it would never happen.

Juventus aren't the only ones chasing Matic. Arsenal have also reportedly made an offer involving Oxlaide Chamberlain.[/QUOTE]

So its real.

Is there a rule against charging more to a different club?

I doubt it but you know what I mean, it's not like it's 2-5m it's fecking double.

If we buy a car it is the same price for everyone regardless if it's me or Bill Gates, why should footballers be any different.

It'll probably be cheaper for Bill Gates actually!

But sellers always have a right to set their own price.

Also, if we were in for him then its unlikely they would reject 40 from us and sell to Milan for 35. Milan was too ninja for the rest of us

Surely FIFA or UEFA should look into these deals where English clubs can't buy players for the same price, in this market he should be easily £60m +.

Surely you're an idiot.

Players are not cattle, they have a say in where they want to play.

Nice reply :nono:.

What has that got to do with a club charging English clubs twice the fee for the same players?
