Let's wait and see what'll happen. That's the only thing we can do. Last 2 summers we were always linked to all players in the market and were the target of all rumors. Seems they took our position this summer.

Who cares how many players a club gets linked to? Most of those links are pure BS anyways. United gets linked to 50 to 100 players every summer, end of the day only a few have any truth to them.
Even if we signed 4 or 5 big name players tomorrow, declared our business done, the media and social media would continue to link us to players.
Deep breaths and relax.

It is how it works , teams make a list of players they want, then the guys who do the negotiations do their thing. Besides there are things like phones and email so yeah they can talk if needed.

We most likely have agreements in place for Griezmann and Perisic. Griezmann was beckoned by half the squad after the Europa League final, Pogba pretty much confirmed there is a deal in place for Griezmann by doing the hotline bling celebration and saying 'watch this space' in an interview. Mourinho was spotted speaking with Perisic's agent during a world cup qualifier in Croatio a few months back.
The final hurdle for both these players is working out the transfer price and contract details which will probably be finalized in the next few weeks. If we do not get these two players then that means we could not agree on the details with the clubs they play for.

Calm down buddy City have signed 1 player. We are in line with the rest of Europe and you can bet your bottom dollar that Ed will be working on our targets. The fact it's not public by our manager like under Moyes is more reassuring for me. Griezmann looks our no1 target then Fabinho Keane/Lindelof Perisic Lukaku/Mbappe have all been mooted by the press so any 2 from these options after Griezmann would be a very good summer imo and 3 would be brilliant.

Its only the 1st of June and city have only signed 1 player all the rest is mostly ITK rubbish. If city signed every player they're linked to they would have about three squads by August. Relax champWhat's your suggestion? Imagine a manager having of list of players he wants. Crazy.
The thing is, Dave hasn't come out to outrightly pledge his future to United or deny interest in moving. One will guess that he is open to the idea of moving but anyone observing will suspect that United is just about shifting gears to start challenging again. As a player, unless you are not getting game time, you wouldn't want to leave United now. A manager with a winning mentality, plenty of money to spend, the global appeal of the United brand, a new European title, new stars coming in, and of course, the challenge of competing in the difficult premier league.
Dave is probably double minded at the moment considering the counter appeals of going back home and playing for the great Real Madrid.
If they really want to sign him, they won't maake the same mistake again.

This kid is fantastic though. He's a real deal and Arsenal is just the right team for him to develop. I predict he will light up the EPL.
