Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Lindelof is the new Gaitan.

You wouldn't have heard Fergie say "I don't care about football I'm on my holidays" when your team finished 6th and you know all the teams above you will be strengthening there squads!
Do you really think he's isn't being kept informed of what's going on? That was Jose just being dramatic.

Didn't he sign a new contract recently? seems a strange one.

He did, January or February, if I'm not mistaken. Nonetheless he's exactly the sort of CB we need, so there could be some truth to this.

This is probably just more fake news from Portuguese media to try and push club agenda.

Exactly - Ferguson was on vacation when he realized that Gazza had made a U-turn and decided not to join United.

New Gaitan? I'm thinking of him as the new Garay.

I used to be certain we were getting him.

He said it himself few times that he loves and respects Atletico and their fans, so if they can't sign players to replace his potential departure I think he'll opt to stay for another year with Atletico.

BOOM!

Many interesting repercussions. Costa stays put. Lukaku won't move to Chelsea. Giminez stays put as well as all their other defenders. Lacazette is available. And Griezmann? Watch this space.
They have insisted they will sign players who are ready to join on Jan 1. Was wondering they could just agree deals with players and clubs and let them play at the old club for 6 months, like an unofficial loan.

How would that do with CL? They might end up cup-tied.

Lacazette to Dortmund would make a lot of sense if Aubameyang is really leaving since Atletico is now out of the picture.

Doom!

Edit: In reality, won't this make Griezmann all the more likely to leave? He pretty much said Atletico aren't in a position to win titles, and a transfer ban isn't exactly going to help!

No one can be sure yet. There are all sorts of angle to consider. Would he want to leave Atletico in a fix? How determined is United to get him? Would United insist on getting him right now rather than wait till winter? Is Griezmann desperate to leave for United immediately? Would Atletico feel confident they can cope without him till winter? How badly does Atletico need the money? Etc.

Tiring, the whole thing. Let the Summer be done with.

Lyon dint make th Champions league so Lacazette wont be a problem for them. I think it can work, Most players they are looking to buy (belotti,Lacazette) etc are all without champions league football. So could work.

If we want him badly we will get him. I am pretty certain the only problem in his transfer will be how the payment is structured like with Pogba, united will like to pay atleti the money over the course of the cpontract, whereas atleti will want a huge chunk of money upfront. We will get this done i think before the end of june.

If they could do that I am pretty sure Barca would have done it.
