Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Seems he learned how to replay to questions from Wenger.

Interviewer - you going to City?

Sanchez - Haha, Sorry I didn't see the question.

Interviewer - It was a verbal question?

Sanchez - jaja mi no hablo ingles.

Sanchez was asked about his next move while sitting next to team-mate Claudio Bravo.

  • Q. "Will you be a teammate of Claudio Bravo at Manchester City next season?
  • A: "[laughs]. Good question! Right now I'm focused on the Confederations Cup. When this is finished I will see if I stay or if I go. I don't know."
  • Q: "Is it clear in your mind, or have you not decided?"
  • A: "Yes it's clear but I can't tell you [laughing]".

Wasn't it Guardiola who fazed him out of I'll Barca? Even if it was so Neymar gets more playing time.
Surely Sanchez is excited about City's project, but if he can't get assurance I over his playing time, may opt to stay or move to Bayern and play in the one team league.

Nope. Sanchez was sold to Arsenal in the same year Di Maria joined us, in 2014. Pep left Barce in 2012.

I don't see the point in obsessing over players that have no chance of joining Utd.

Who is obsessing? What i'm saying is that I find it frustrating we are just letting Sanchez sign for City without even trying when he would be excellent in our team. We have fecking Jesse Lingard as our starter still heading in to the new season thus far. Obviously we have never been in for him though.

Anyone got a summary of the targets? At work and don't have time to listen at the moment.

Nothing new really. He says Morata and Perisic are the targets, but were not Mourinho's first choices for those positions, and that United's window is not going well. He expects Darmian to stay.

The first targets were Griezmann and Willian I guess.

With all my respect to David Amoyal, this guy doesn't seem to add much to any transfer saga.

Who is to say we're not trying? Because The Sun haven't mentioned it? Maybe we've not been linked with him loads because we made contact and he has no interest in coming to us. Who bloody knows.

Chelsea were interested in him for sometime and suddenly this interest was killed. Bayern were interested and he forced them out of the deal by asking for ridiculous fee.

The guy is City bound. He'll either stay at Arsenal or join City. No need to waste our time on this deal like Bayern and Chelsea tried before.

didn't inter just about get under there FFP how are they now going to splash the cash on Nainggolan? man when is the first game of the season again?

... and PS Arsenal end interest in Mbappe  brilliant.

Surely if you're Arsenal you force Sanchez to stay and just risk him leaving on a free next summer. He'll be 30 then and for a player who runs himself into the ground every time he gets on the pitch, City may feel he's not worth giving a long contract on mega wages?

Selling him to City would not only be embarrassing and upsetting to their fans but it would essentially guarantee that they won't be winning the league.

They should force him to stay, or sell him abroad. But it's Arsenal, you know they'll bend over for City and all that lovely £££

I briefed the media that I'm no longer interested in Sofia Vergara's services. On to the next target. List has been known since April.

Think he'd be a success in England.
