Van Gaal did the same and I also never once heard any other Manager saying "This is going to be an easy window". So nothing to be upset about in this part. Also, this thread started on May 28th and already has 1,5 million views, 331 pages and over 13.000 replies. That's just a single club forum, so you can image the range of people you can reach and how much money can be generated with these kind of stories on a daily basis.
I know for a fact that a lot of journalists would like to stop writing nonsense stories, but most people aren't prepared to pay a single penny for quality journalism. Deep down most people want this kind of gossip, at least the majority. The clicks suggest that and without them, there wouldn't be any room for these kind of rumours. Media reflects society. These people are doing their jobs and nothing more. So stop moaning about the problem, when you are contributing to it.
